Mission 11: "Impromptu Heroism"

"Im always scanning, Ensign.  Im always compiling and recording everything for future use.  Unlike the ships computer or stations I cant be destroyed as easily as the science console there.  I may however beable to salvage some data from the science stations logs as well if required." HK47 responded.

<Turns to Ajax>

"But it was sooooooooooo much fun killing those meatbags and the messier the kill the better the kill." he said sarcastically, however, it almost sounded like he enjoyed killing the heraani spy.

[Taurik]

(OFF: Oh, what? You can't function without me? :P)

"Very well, Mr. Beta. Proceed with the transport. We can examine the wreckage once we are no longer in danger. Mr. Sarpedon, set an attack vector toward the remaining Heraani ship, three-quarters impulse. Tactical, load a full spread of quantum torpedoes and fire at will."

T'lana moved to the Ops station and began scanning for the intruder, as requested.
After searching for Heraani biosigns the intruder showed up on the bio-feedback sensors.

"Morgan the intruder is in the reactor room with you, there is  a maintenance closet next to you, he is there and well protected. I am beaming to your location now.

"Mr. Sarpedon, remain here on the Kelata and keep a constant lock on Taurik, Morgan and myself."

T'lana got up and moved to the Tesseract Field Generator, a device T'lana devised due to her studies of devising a means  of Transportation that is not based on matter-energy conversion.
The name Tesseract is taken from the fourth dimensional cube known as a hypercube, which is in essence the mathematical theory behind the Tesseract Field Generator, which creates a fourth dimensional fold between two locations (aka translocation, aka teleportation).

T'lana set the tesseract coordinates and stepped on to the slightly raised TFG platform. In an instant after activation, two purple-blue energy fields were created between the Kelata and the Reactor Room, as T'lana was translocated between the two locations in the fourth dimension, appearing to exist in two locations simultaneously.

After the tesseracting sequence was complete, T'lana walked up to Morgan.

"Ready."

[Holographic Officer Beta]

<Beta entered Engineering at that point, walking in a straight line towards the centre of the room, firing at any Henaari he saw, with their return fire passing straight through his holographic body. The Security team entered from five different points and shot at any Henaari they saw. After the battle was over, Beta turned to HK47>

"Enjoy that, HK?"

<He turned to survey the damage. A few non-essential panels were shorted out, and one or two Engineers had minor burns.>

"You two, go to sickbay. You <points to security officer> escort them. Make sure no Henaari get to them."

<Walks over to Warp Core.>

=^=Captain, this is Cadet Beta. We have cleared main Engineering and I am now at the Warp Core. I currently have limited knowledge of Engineering, however, and all I can tell is that it has been tampered with and is the cause of our temporal anomalies. I cannot undo this though without a qualified Engineer.=^=

"The rest of you <turning to the remainder of Security Team 3> secure Engineering and the corridors surrounding it."

<At that point, a stealthy Henaari spy, who had evaded the rain of phaser fire pouring into his companions, attempted to smash Beta on the back of his head with the butt of his rifle, which passed straight through Beta. Without so much as a glance, Beta reached back and put his hand through his brain, before altering his projection to make his hand solid again, killing the Henaari. Beta returned his hand to it's previous state and the Henaari dropped to the floor, dead.>

[Taurik]

"Orpheus, please keep an eye on the ship, as most of the crew will be on-shore."

Taurik stepped to the turbolift and entered it, and promptly left the Rivendell.

(OFF: During shore leave, it will get pretty boring here. If you haven't already, feel free to go to the Celtic Corner bar on the station, as it's where most of us will be.)

T'lana looked around to Taurik from her console.

"There are many possibilities, but given that there is no black hole present, or concentrated mass of darkmatter, the only logical conclusion is someone is using a form of space-folding drive. Akin to a Coaxial Warp, but far more intense in power and manipulation. But this is all speculative of course, it could simply be some spacetime anomaly that the sensors can not interpolate."

OOC: I will leave it up to you, if you don't like it then it is a spacetime anomaly; if you do, then the sky's the limit.
What wont work is the Warp Drive, the negative-energy field of the Warp Core would not have enough power behind it to form, but easy to get out of, simply leave the localized anomaly with the Impulse Engines and then reform the warp-bubble.

[Morgan Freeman]

Morgan moved to the reactor, his weapon had jammed again when he needed it.  severely frustrated with himself he walked up to the reactor's massive control console.  Plugging in a mobile power pack to the console it powered up and gave him a diagnostic rather quickly.

"Curious," Morgan said to no one in particular and began to think about what would require only .001% of power to remain operational on the station.    Getting a sneaky suspicion what they where dealing with, Morgan ran a few more test and turned to the other two officers in the room.

"It's an adaptive Virus.  Reactor 3 has a small amount of power running from it.  Its enough to power the backup computer system. Whats worse, I think someone is still inputting commands into the virus program."  Morgan spoke very calm as he shared the news.

Indrid Cold is the name of the entity from the Mothman Prophecies, but NOT the Mothman himself. Battlestar Atlantis was the name of the first Battlestar to leave Kobol to Colonize Earth.

As Morgan cycled the airlock, T'lana piloted the Slipfighter in to the tube leading to the final bulkhead door.

Landing the Slipfighter and shutting down the Magneto Plasma Dynamic Drive and Gauss Canons, but altered the Gravity Field Generator so as it acted as an anchor.

T'lana opened the canopy and exited the craft as Morgan finished the airlock cycle and was making his way along the deceptively large access tube.

"Now it is a simple matter of opening the bulkhead door."

T'lana gave Justin her phaser and took out her forcelance and torch, activating the forcelance's power.

T'lana held her position at the  entrance to the umbilical and explained what occurred during those eventful days.

"The 'Phoenix Rising' was at minimal power and the base's internal IFF defense grid was offline, as was Rhiannon. It would not be logical for the AIE to consider me malignant, due to my reactivating her."

T'lana continued.

"I simply explained the situation and who I was."

[Bran Tragare]

"shields up captain, multiple targets locked captain appears to be four, type unknown at this time.
returning fire launching torpedos and fireing all phasers"

<suddenly the screen is filled with a blinding light >

tregare looks at his torpedo telemetry and screams

"helm hard a port nowsheilds full on starboard, sir the topedos are are turning on us attemping to self destruct them now"

2 of the four topedos explode and tragare succesfully destroys the other two with well aimed shots as the rivendell is shook violently from the explosions

"captain i sugest we either forgo torpedo use or operate them manualy til we find a way to fix whatever is going wrong with them sir"

tragare continues to fire phasors at the targets as they return fire, abrubtly some of the fire lessons

"sir one enemy vessel appears disabled two more return fire has weakened but the last one seems to be holding just outrside of phasor range "
