U.S.S. Evolution Mission 9: The Maviduli Crystal

[Randall Sanchez]

"Are you sure that is quite necessary? Nobody got hurt or killed, after all. Let us beam down to the planet and bring the matter before the High Queen, shall we?"

[Kelli Lauren]

As Sanchez strides toward his ready room door, Lauren gets one last comment in: "Replacing me so soon, Captain?"

She turns to Vorlok. "Alpha Shift is almost over.  I can take you to the holodeck and teach you some basic sparring techniques if you'd like."

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez looks up after studying a padd.*
"Thank you for your concern, commander. I am doing well, don't worry. I just hope that we will get an answer from the Revox soon."

[Peter Svensson]

"You would not betray them at all, your friends, your family... On the contrary, you would ensure their safety, and protect them even more, even though they will never realise it that they will have you to thank for it."
*The doors of the turbolift open, and a corridor that goes straight to the shuttlebays, appears. Svensson looks up.*
"Of course, Section 31 already knows all the names of your family, your friends, and their whereabouts. It would be an easy task for us to protect them, and you would have more power to do the same. On the other hand, Ms. Lauren, should you choose to... decline... my offer, I'm not sure what we can do for them, should danger be imminent. In fact, they may be the first of all in danger..."
*Svensson sideglances at Lauren while they walk into the shuttlebay.*

[Aaron Cloud]

OFF: Spock....hmmm talking to your self again....i'm going to have to talk to that psychiatrist friend of mine...................no, not really.

ON:

Lt. Aaron Cloud reporting Mr. Spock.

[Avelsa]

*Avelsa returns to the bridge after gathering some more information about Starfleet and their technology.  She hears Svensson anounce his decision to depart and waits until after he leaves the bridge.*

Well Captain, I have had a nice stay.  But I should be on my way, I have fallen behind my duities and must retun to them.

*Avelsa then quickly heads to her ship.  Once in her ship, she waits for Svensson to head out in a shuttle to leave the ship as well.  Avelsa once out of range of the ship and shuttle activates a shaddowing system.  She then shadows Svenssons shuttle to its destination undetected.*

*As Sanchez is walking out of sickbay, Jackson walks in.*

Sir! It's good to see you. Glad to see everything came out alright on this mission. Sorry I missed you on the bridge. I had to gather a few tools to assist Dr. ftima with. Good to see you back, sir.

*Jackson pauses and looks more closely at the Captain.*

Sir, with all due respect, what the h*ll is that thing on your head? Looks like you ran head-first into a brick wall, if you don't mind my saying so, sir. I hope it's not serious.

[Zayan]

*Zayan follows Sanchez into the ready room. Seeing that they are alone, she answers his earlyer question.*

"It is true, I was not on Vontak Nor when you tried to contact me.  I could not wait any longer and went to Avalon Station, hoping to find you there.  But when I arived, like you did, I found out that you were not there.  I decided to check on the crystal, that is where I met everyone that came with me.  We came back here to see if Zentox made a log entry regarding the crystal."
*Zayan sits down without an invitation to do so.  She orders her thoughts, not sure if she should tell him of her dream.*

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez attempted to hide his disappointment, when Burma told him that Zayan was not on the station, but couldn't hide the expression of surprise on his face, when Burma said that she was looking for him... But as a captain, he had to keep things professional.*
"Very well, I will prepare Varnek to beam over, and maybe we will speak again soon. Sanchez out.

[Kelli Lauren]

(OFF: Eew, you don't know where those manifolds have been!)

[KHa Var]

*Some time later, the Romulan ships begin fireing on the Evolution once more.  Out of know where comes another StarFleet ship.  It opened fire on the Romulan ships, the tractorbeam holding the Vor'Cha Kahless was disrupted.*

HAAAAAAA!

*The Klingon crew chears.*

At last! Do we have any fighters left?

Officer: "No my lady, they were destroyed.  Those wariors will be reamembered!"

In deed they will be!

*Roughly clasps the officers sholder. The crew watch as the new ship puts the Romulans out of commision.*

Ah, yes! That is the Rivendell, a fine battle ship.  Hail them and see if they can help our enginers out!

It is nice to see an honorable ally.  We could use some help getting our systems back online.  Our enginers have been able to get prupolsion systems back online and are currently working on the shields.

"Too bad, but they never told me that in person."
*Svensson grins.*

[Randall Sanchez]

"But... Wait! Ahh, he already closed the channel!"
*Sanchez sighs deeply and turns back to Spock.*
"We are in the heart of the Delta Quadrant now, there is no easy way to take a shuttle back and find HK47. The journey with a shuttle would take several days probably, and we don't have any clearance yet to cross Delta Alliance space without their escort. And we can't use a catapult without their approval either. So we have about five minutes to come up with an excuse why HK47 is not here with us, because I don't like to explain to the High Queen that we managed to lose her Droid!"

[Peter Svensson]

"Nor do your victims appreciate that you stole their cargo, I would think. But if you still wish to request asylum, I will grant it to you, in exchange for your cooperation to find that ship. The alternative, however, is that we would have to return you to the D.A. officials, who will have you face serious charges instead."
