U.S.S. Evolution Mission 9: The Maviduli Crystal

[Galon]

*HIs ship remains un-cloaked and weapons powered down. He also commands his escourt to only remained shielded and un-cloaked. Too valdor class ships back off to a strategic distence as if they were to flank the evolution but weapon systems are still not powered and they remain un-cloaked. Galon ounce again hails the Evolution.*

[Kelli Lauren]

"Aye sir, yellow alert. Shields to full and weapons at nominal yield."

[Nonir]

*Nonir rubs his ear and he smiles, he then throw his legs over his biobed and he stands up, he stumbles a bit and he starts to walk over to the main entrance. He peaks out and then he starts to walk aimlessly about the sickbay*

"Hmm, I wonder what this little device does."

*He then picks up a laser scaple and presses the little button on it and it shoots off and slices through the counter top it was sitting on, Nonirs face goes into a shocked expression*

"Oh geezz!"

*He then picks up a tray and sets it over the damaged counter adn made so that the slit was not seen then he places the scaple on the tray with a few other gadgets he randomly found, he then countinues to walk about sickbay.*

[KHa Var]

*Once the Romulan ship opened fire the Kahless was about to launch into battle, but then there was an explosion.  The Kahless is hit with the aftermath of the explosion.*

Officer: "Captain, the warpdrive is off line!"

Dam it all!

Officer: "The Evolution appears to have left this sector, she jumped to warp. Three Romulan warbirds are incapacitated.  I suggest we try to finish them off.  As for the other ship called he Revox, is damaged also.... We are not able to detect how badly damaged it is.

Repair the damages NOW!  Find out what those Romulans are still capable of......

*KHa'Var gives a few more orders, and the crew faithfully carries them out.*

(Awaken from his shock of the news. (Still a little shaken from his last mission and possibly fainting from what Captain Sanchez did to the poor guy. http://expansionfleet.sparks.priorweb.be/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>) He notices that he was in his own quarters. He sees on his chair a new wardrobe of red uniforms on the table. His uniforms are no longer of a yellow variety of Chief of Engineer on the table, but of a different station. That of leadership. He sees on the table also box with the additional pip to be added on his uniform. Strangely, He is afraid, he is afraid what he may eventually do even with the new responsibility if he once again has to put his own and that of his crew's life in danger especially with the strange new connection with the N'ygat he has. A dark burden indeed. But a Captain needs his first officer. A crew needs it's commander. And a new life Vurak needs to realize has to be written. A story where everyone must write.............in the end.......:))(As the story is written, Commander Vurak Spock, 1st Officer of the U.S.S. Evolution, reports for duty as he leaves his quarters, fully uniformed, in his new role and enters the bridge.......................................(Fade out)

*Emrodel tries to difuse the situation peacefully.*

"Everyone should just calm down!  The Dralian is in the brig now and we cannot change what has happened.  But despite the facts, we might as well go down and have a talk with her while she is here."

[Engaladh]

"Alas, there are not as many people here as there were. We had a population of about 2000 people in this city, but when the proposal of the space ship was voted for, people had the choice to sign up for the journey, or stay behind. About half of them went with the ship."
*Engaladh turns to Taurik.*
"The Maviduli indeed has protective powers against the Na'jigat, but it is no weapon. You can only use it, so to say, as a shield, but not as a sword."
*He looks at the crystal stone, and then hands it over to Embries.*
"Hold the stone, and focus. Let its energy flow through you. Feel the flow throughout your entire body. Let the memories flow to you, and you will see the memories added to your own memories, and you will know what happened to the crew of our ship."

*Enoch pushes several buttons, and the ship begins moving backwards, away from the battlefield.*

[Peter Svensson]

*Svensson looks up.*
"A ship called StarFire? Intelligence? Why do I not know anything about this? Hmmm..."
*He leaves the bridge, heading to another deck, without telling anyone where he's going to.*

[Taurik]

Captain Taurik follows Tuarthk and T'Pong with his eyes as they leave the room to return to their duties. He then turns back to his former captain.

"Captain, I need to speak with you. About your mission. I find it very strange that you are this far from Avalon, and this close to the Galactic Core. Captain, I need to know everything."

[Randall Sanchez]

[Nonir]

*As the Romulans beam off with their casulties he has the security officers remain under the Commanders authority and he beams back to the evolution*

"Alright guys I am heading back to our ship. If you guys need something just let me know and i will get it beamed over to ya. One to beam back"

*He beams back to the ship and he walks to sickbay. He sees an engineering team working on the destroyed door and he walks up to ftima*

"Hey you. I am back to check up on ya. I am available at 18:00 hours for dinner if you are intrested, I am going to head to the brig now to check on our prisoner."

*He gives her a hug and he leaves the sickbay and heads to the brig. he enters and he sees a corps on the ground with a puddle of blood.*

"Medical emergancy to the Brig NOW! Attention all security teams, the romulan officer has escaped and killed Ensign O'Neill. Hunt him down and bring him back to the brig, Alive."
