USS Evolution Mission 14: The Last Flight

OFF Sorry for not being around, my computer is getting repaired if they finnish it I will be back more often.

ON. *Ftima is holding to her desk hoping not to fall, she hopes sickbay will remain as empty as it is, she is really worried about this journey, she hopes she will find Zayan and ofcourse Airis. She also worries about Nonir, it feels if his feelings are changed for her, maybe his last sickness, made him forget about them. But the first thing to worry about right now is being save.

*The captain stole one last glance at the man who was giving his life to give him a chance at life with his child and his love.*

*Sanchez climbed down the shaft to the shuttlebay several decks below, and boarded the waiting shuttle.*
"Let us depart quickly, please."

*Blaze was standing over in a corner of the ready room with a clear line of sight to Sanchez, Taurik, and Burma, he stood there rubbing his Personal cloaking device and listened into the conversation, then like a small breeze moved closer to the ready room then he slipped inside still remaining cloaked, he stood near Burma and Sanchez unknown to Tauriks true intentions*

Captain, would you like me to escort the Loxian pilot to the bridge?

"Then it is settled. I will go to the planet's surface and try to determine the location of the prisoners. By the time I do, your shuttle will likely have arrived, Randall, and we can evacuate them."

While speaking, Taurik's drifts his hand slowly toward the hilt of his khala, on his belt. He instantly draws it, ignites it, and holds it at the brink of the throat of the stealth operative in the corner.

"I strongly suggest you disarm and identify yourself," he states calmly.

[Roland Burma]

"Calm down, we're not at the stage of sacrificing lives to save others just yet... I'm talking about a material sacrifice... This is the plan...

We have a small shuttle that can travel at high warp. It is highly maneuvrable and it could get past the lines. But never undetected, so before the shuttle ever reaches the planet, the ground forces will long be alerted and there will never be a safe landing place. But we could instead distract the Loxian government ships, keep them occupied, so they don't have the time to pay attention to a tiny shuttle that slips through.

For as far as we know, and we have our ways to tap into their internal communications to learn what they do and don't know, they are not aware of the presence of your two ships here yet. So any attack you make will have the advantage of surprise on our side. It could utterly confuse them, and give us a chance to inflict some serious damage to their fleet.

If both your ships suddenly throw yourselves into their lines, and our ships do the same, it will appear as if we're all trying to create a breach in their line, and they will do everything within their power to prevent that. And while they are worried about that, we launch our shuttle. I would need you to be in that shuttle, and I will send one of our people with you, who will know his way on the planet. The intention of our fake attempt to breach their line will not be to actually breach it, though it would be nice if we could, but to get that shuttle past them.

The downside of this plan is that the Evolution will have no chance whatsoever to get out of this in one piece. They WILL destroy the ship, and spare no one. But that's where your second ship will be needed. It seems to be in a good shape, from what our scanners could tell, and should easily be able to withstand their attacks for long enough until the shuttle has had its safe passage. That ship would then beam up your crew from the Evolution, and withdraw.

I know you probably don't want to sacrifice the Evolution, but it's the weakest ship at our disposal and sacrificing any other ship of our fleet would mean the loss of a very capable ship once again."
*He turns to Taurik.*
"You, captain, as a Vulcan, will probably understand the logic behind this plan. And the rest of our fleet will do what we can to back you up, so you have a chance to beam out the Evolution crew, and withdraw from the warzone. What do you both think about this plan?"

*Sanchez looks astonished.*
"I can't believe what I'm hearing... thank you!"

*Spock was heading to the escape pod but a bulk head exploded in front of him as it dropped to the ground to block spocks way to the escape pods, in one final ditch he ran towards the nearest shuttle bay*

*Baphomet transfered the information from the Kelata to the Rivendell's main computer, then sent it via subspace to the Evolution.*

*In the information was contained an underground complex below another complex, surrounded by the Loxian Governmments military hangers, baracks, Administration building and other various buildings that were undeterminable even via Interdimensional sensors.*
*The underground and above ground complexes were cordoned off by Force Fields and check points.*

[Kelli Lauren]

"Bridge to Engineering! Spock, transfer all of our phaser power to shields! We've got to hold shields together, or we're done for!"

Kelli fires another set of torpedoes crippling a battlecruiser and completely shattering a small corvette ship.

[Bryan Hannah]

A tear formed in Hannah's eye.

"Tell Kelli... tell her that... that I love her. And... and that I always will."

[Roland Burma]

*Burma nods.*
"Understood, our Loxian pilot will come over with the shuttle in a few minutes."
*He taps his Loxian commbadge.*
"One to beam back."
*Burma beams back to the Loxian Exile flagship.*

*Burma looks at both Sanchez and Taurik.*
"That sounds like a good idea to me."
