"At current speed, Loxius is about eighteen hours away, sir. And the Rivendell will overtake us in three."

[Ardeth Wildcat]

Ardeth chuckled, enjoying this.  He had everything packed in the packs he needed now.  "Shall I grab the galley sink, sir?" he joked.  Having some human in him gave him the idea that he must be funny once in a while.

*The Loxian shuttle approaches the Evolution as Burma had promised, and hails the ship.*
"This is Loxian shuttle Tazay III. Requesting permission to come aboard your shuttlebay, captain."

OOC: Just going on with the discussion between Commander Spock and commander Lauren, others would be able to over ride it as well Like the Captain and XO.

Captain there are other idea's that could be used to our advantage sir. Captain Taurik is a Vulcan sir so very few of the plans discussed so far would confuse him. The distruction one might but that would be the only one so far discussed. He would with his scienctific mind see through them Sir.
The distruction and floating garbage with some minor thisngs to identify The evolution would baffle him no end and i would guess five or six or more hours headstart sir.

Or the other idea I just had sir. Present the problem head on sir. plead with him for help. I believe the Vulcans held you back from making certain scientific discoveries in the first Hundred years or more of your association because they wanted to help. Maybe that still resides in them sir.

As the shuttle rocketed from it's berth in the shuttlebay of the dying ship, Kelli got slightly agitated with the situation.
"Wait, that happened up there? And where's Bryan?"

[Randall Sanchez]

"You're right, commander Harf! Let's do it!"
*He taps his commbadge*

"Firing all weapons!"

A large salvo of torpedoes erupt from both forward torpedo tubes, and the one remaining dorsal phaser bank begins wildly lancing at Loxian ships. The main deflector powers, and the adapted beam weapon strikes one of the larger Loxian battlecruisers.

*Sanchez was taken aback, shocked.*
"Absolutely not! I am responsible for everyone onboard this ship, and to put my life before those of my crew would be a cowardly, heinous dereliction of duty."
*Sanchez tapped a few more commands on his armchair.*
"I suggest you get to your escape pod, Doctor. Please."

OOC**Dont yell at me, Nonir, and Karelia for something I didnt know.  I was only trying to add some funess to the game, putting in an xtra edge for survivability, sense theres a 99% chance we are all gonna DIE!.  So dont yell at me for something I didnt know!, Besides you could have emailed me, instead of embarressing me and my stupidity on the boards.

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez ponders for a moment, staring blankly at the screen. He suddenly twirls on his heel to face his crew.*
"I thought I'd never give this order."
*He taps the intercom button on his chair.*
"All hands, this is the captain. Proceed to the escape pods and evacuate the Evolution."
*As the crew begins to exit the bridge, Sanchez hold his ground, staring at the command chair, and at the static-ridden image on the viewscreen. When he thinks everyone is gone, he begins to speak, unsure if he is speaking to himself, or actually to the Evolution itself.*
"I can't believe this day has come. I have been captain of this ship for more than four years, it has become my home. More than Avalon Station, more than Deep Space Nine, more than Earth itself. And I have sealed it's fate, it's destruction."
*Sanchez straightens his uniform and sits in his chair.*
"And it is only fitting that the captain goes down with his ship."
