Mission 1: "Refitting"

*...Nate watched Richerds help Nesbitt up. He thought to himself... "That man is going to do great things." At that moment he had seen General Powell exit the Turbo lift. He Snaps at attention throws his right hand up and salutes and gives a shout...*

"General on deck!"

[Balkazar]

<Noticing the rather unexpected arrival of Admiral Karelia, Balkazar gives him a short salute and got down to the point>

"Nothing, Admiral.  Just a MINOR! disagreement between Naval and Marine personel.  Naval seems to have a god complex and tried to take over this MARINE vessel.  I was just reminding the Commander here that he and his people are only here because you High command think that this ship should be operated by naval personel.  I was just reminding the Commander that he is guests here and to stay out of the way of the marines.  I was also reminding him that he and his people are only here to operate the vessel not order my men around like they were under his command.  Which they are not." Balkazar explained to Karelia knowing by reputation that he was a fair man.

[Jacob Ressik]

<Security Department>
No I've seen you navy boys before, but we Marines prefer to be called men......Sir. " Ressik says "I'll get it done."

[Balkazar]

"John, meant no harm by it Maguid.  Just we have faced to many assaults by your species.  Besides we are trained to distrust everyone even our allies till they prove themselves otherwise.  John's statement wasnt meant to insult you, I assure you." Balkazar said trying to ease the tension between the 2 youngins.

"John, why dont you take these 2 ensigns down and get themselves there physicals."

[Tom Titan]

*He returns the greetings with salutes and hand shakes.*

"I am glad to meet you all. I am sure our service time together will be very interesting. Lieutenant Mason. I need you to change out of that old Intel. uniform and put on a proper red one. Mr. Velotian you are more then welcome to join us. Wait here at on the bridge until I can speak with you. Commander follow me to my ready room."

*Titan walked away to his ready room.*

[Tom Titan]

*Captain Titan transported over to the ship from that station. He had just been brought back from SB185 and he was excited to hear he will once again receive a command. He walked out and walked around the ship to get a feel of it then he headed off to the bridge.*

=/\= Attention all senior staff. Report to the bridge ASAP =/\=

*After the PA announcement he look at the view screen and waits for the staff.*

[Andrew Yates]

"Oh yes. Lets go"

*...Yates gives the word tot he Dock Master and the two transport over the the transporter room. To Andrew's surprise  not a light was on only the red illuminated panels on the walls and ceiling...*

"Hmmm. Computer activate all primary systems and run a full diagnostic of the ship."

*...The lights turn on and dust particals could be seen floating about. Control consuls could be seen with tarps draped over them to ensure that nothing can get to them to disturb them...*

"Well. Lets head to the bridge first. Shall we? Or do you think there is someplace else we should check before we go there?"

[Balkazar]

"Yeah, its the life of a marine.  We are bound to get injuries and we try not to let it effect us.  Besides the field medic patched me up the best he could.  Is there a problem I should be made aware of?"

[Balkazar]

"I think we should update those systems then.  I think we can add newer systems in while we wait for the completion of the USS Lothlorien."

"Mind your tounge, Colonel. He may be a navy officer but he is also your superior. You have to remeber you serve me and inwhich the manner you serve me reflects upon me."

[William Richerd]

William saluted Balkazar and went to the Turbolift to call the next car to the bridge, he stood waiting now for him to distend into the bowls of the ship to carry out his mission now.

[Maguid Velotian]

*Watches as the crew quickly take up their positions on the bridge following the captains orders*

*As his adrenaline begins to pump round his body, he walks up to the sensors and places his hands on the controls*

Can't wait to get started, he thinks to himself.

[Andrew Yates]

"Oh yes. Sure. But don't you think for one moment that I am a silly old man who can't find his way around a ship."

*...Yates said with a serious finger waving his finger. As he took the tricorder and giggled a bit and snatched it from him playfully...*
