Mission 10: "Power of the Ancients"

[Taurik]

Taurik arrived in Transporter Room One and immediately stepped up to the pad. "Chief, set destination for the shuttlecraft Kelata, holding just off the port stern."

The team stood for a moment longer before dematerializing, arriving a second later on the Kelata.

[Taurik]

Taurik could sense the crew's concern at their lack of knowledge on the upcoming mission, especially that of Lieutenant Matthews. He found it coincidental that he was about to call a briefing.

"All senior staff," he said, tapping his commbadge, "report to the briefing room."

He glanced at Lieutenants Matthews and Jones, knowing they caught his meaning.

[Indiana Jones]

Jones turns to face Will. "Yes... Come over here  and I'll show you some ways of how I think we can strengthen the shielding and weapons, as well as give some good Tactical strength to our scanors... I advise that you stay on your guard... but if we do get in trouble... well, last time we didn't stand much of a chance agianst their demands." Jones was worried, he was wondering just what happened after the stare down. The events soon after they faced each other were fuzzy and not very clear to him.

[Morgan Freeman]

"So I would assume we are leaving bread crumbs to find our way back out again?"

Morgan sees what looks like a hint of fear from Jones.

[Doctor Who]

"Indeed..."

The Doctor looked at his Translocator and touched a control, the main viewer zeroed in on a male Vulcan.

"This one is one of the reasons I am here, he is of the Order of Gallifrey and I am here to observe."

[Doctor Who]

With a flash of photonic energy, a Gallifreyan Battlecruiser exited a spacetime vortex along side the USS Rivendell.

[Will Matthews]

Seeing the open panel, Matthews took a seat at helm to operate the ship from it's docking.

"Clear of port Captain".

OOC: I am here, to do whatever with however many people.

ah hello commander im ensign leon kennedy im in tactical/security welcome aboard

[Will Matthews]

Matthews eyes widened as the Captain finished. He had assumed the Captain wanted to discuss the tactical situation.

"Thank you sir, I am proud to still be on the Rivendell. I will not let you down". He took the extra pip, and placed it over the empty space that marked the Junior Lieutenant. As he turned to follow the rest of the senior staff, he glanced down to see how it looked, feeling for that moment like he was just given his first rank of Ensign, he quickly looked forward again, and stepped onto the bridge.

[Morgan Freeman]

After a few moments working on the probes, Jones and Freeman have them ready to go.

Morgan turns to Jones "Good work, lets see if we can't improve the accuracy of our targeting systems.  I have a feeling we are going to need it."

OFF: HEy there, sorry once again. I was away on some family business and I did not get a chnce to post my LOA. But I am back now and I want to get involved. So can some one give me a recap of what has happend so far and what our mission is?

[Taurik]

Taurik jumped to his feet, and sternly walked out the door to the bridge. In an almost angered tone, he barked "Report!" to the on-duty tactical officer.

[T'lana]

Inzjana turned to Commander Starwind,

"It seems that captain Taurik underestimated the Heraani's resolve and both assault teams will be required for the boarding of the Heraani capital ship, sir."

[Taurik]

(OFF: Now that the servers are working again, let's try to pick the posting back up.)

"Ahh, very good, Commander. In the process, I would suggest you get settled into your new quarters on Deck Two."
