Mission 10: "Power of the Ancients"

[Taurik]

(OFF: Thanks. It seems we're the only ones. Greaaaat.)

"Very well, Lieutenant. Set a course for these coordinates," Taurik said while sending data to the helm console, "And engage at warp seven."

[Indiana Jones]

Jones smiled, "Good anology, let's just hope we don't have any space birds out there to eat our crumbs."

Jones only shook his head, "Okay, here is all I have worked on for the Excalibur's mission, including a science officer's changes to the probes to allow us to use them as beacons... if you don't mind looking at it."

[Indiana Jones]

Jones had only nodded his head, he was more focused on keeping his eyes on the engineering section of the readouts, and making sure that his corrections were working to the best that they could in the distorting space of the Van'Gu Nebula.

[Taurik]

"Commander, I am sensing a heightened sense of alert on the planet's surface. I would like to take the team there, but the atmosphere is unsuitable for the rest of the team. I can support myself through psionic manipulation, but I cannot provide for the others. Do you have EV suits onboard?"

[Dean Starwind]

"No, Sir. We lost transmission from the probe as soon as it got in weapons range of the Heerani Cruiser. So thats an indication that they deffinatly are aware of our presence. With your permission I would like to head down to engineering to assist in making a probe that is undetectable by the Heerani scans."

[Doctor Who]

The Doctor turned to the Replicator and asked for two Earl Greys, once they had finished being replicated he walked over to Galen and handed him one.

"The TARDIS is fine, if you are here to spy on me, I will boot off the TARDIS, but if you want to be my companion, please stay."

The Doctor coaxed Galen to a set of Victorian chairs and a table, once there he sat down and smiled at his guest.

"So how are thingss back on Gallifrey anyway?"

[Taurik]

"Very well. Helm, initiate maneuvering thrusters and take us out of port."

[Ferando ONeil]

*Sickbay*

The doorbell rung outside Taurik's office, and he sensed his new first officer waiting outside. "Enter," he replied, as expected.

[Ferando ONeil]

Chief Medical Officer as well Sir.

[Will Matthews]

Matthews waited on the bridge, at the ops station with the Ensign, as Starwind met with the Captain. He began to wonder if what they were looking for would turn up, if 'turn up' was even the right saying for what they were waiting for, he thought. He had started to check back and forth eagerly, hoping to be able to report success in findings. But now, the human quality of boredom was setting in. He had stood looking over the operations station readings with Travis for nearly half an hour.

[Will Matthews]

"Have we been given any specific objects to look for? Or sources to look from? Looking at the charted space of the Van'Gu Cluster, it's no small place".

[Dean Starwind]

"Yes, Sir. Thank you, Sir."

*...Starwind leaves the ready room and meets back with Lieutenant Matthews...*

"Well, Lieutenant. Readt to get a move on?"

[Dean Starwind]

*...Beeping goes off on a few consuls and a sciance officer informs of the ship that had just warped  in Dean immediatly hails...*

"This is Commander Starwind executive officer of the Rivendell. Where sure glad to see you here. Perhaps you can fill us in on what exactly is going on?"

[Indiana Jones]

Jones momentarily froze, but only nodded his head. "Aye sir... I'll just go tweek the Excalibur's program, after all, she did visit that cluster already, don't want to reinvent the wheel after all." Jones said with a dry laugh. He then goes to an empty engineering control panel on the bridge and began to pull up the plans and right changes. He turned around, "I will even try to improve range as well, but I am unsure of how much I can give you." He turned back to his work.
agian to that blasted cluster? I sure hope we don't get commendered agian. Jones thought to himself, but still, he had survived the place one, and he should survive agian.
