Mission 8: The Battle of Avalon

"Beaming the computer remains to the secondary cargo bay".
He engaged the transporters as the intact remains of the Skytouchers computer core onto the Rivendell.
"Helm, Begin one fourth impulse and assume orbit around the station".
As the ship approached Avalon, the tractor beam shifted to move the Skytoucher's chunk a reasonable distance from the stations bay doors.

(OFF: I've ben gone unexpectedly, as my internet went down. I'm posting from work. And if Rasmain hasn't spoken with Montrell, we'll assume he did. We can't wait any longer.)

"Alright, set course for Frontier Station, standard warp cruise speed."

[Baphomet]

After reporting events Baphomet then came quitely up to the Captain.

"Sir, it would be prudent to get you to my shuttle, as the last line of defence, it would be perceived as less of a threat to the Na"jigat."

"Shall I also power up the Shift-Drive?" Baphomet contued, more as an after thought.

[Morgan Freeman]

"Well thats a good thing, I think, that and the wonderful fact that we are not inside of a bulkhead.  
We may be able to get one good transport out of the shuttle before it activates a inhibitor so, I am going to run a scan of the locations for the command staff we need answers."

Morgan goes to the science station and starts to run a low intensity scan of the station getting the following results.

Morgan turns to Baphomet

"It looks like they are trying to fix a computer problem.   I will beam to the Computer core to help Admiral Garhart and you beam to operations and let them know that we are here and see what help you can be there.  Let me modify the comm badges so the route through the shuttle that way we will be able to communicate independantly of the stations systems."

Freeman pulls out his portible engineering kit and modifys both his and Baphomet's comm badges in a few moments.

"Alright, I have deactivated the subroutine that would route us through the stations sytems and amped up the power to both units.  Basically we won't be able to communicate with anyone but each other.  
Lets go.  Take a compression Phaser Rifle just for security and lets get going."  

Packing a bigger engineering kit Morgan Kisses Baphomet before stepping onto the transporter platform then awaits transport.

Baphomet starts to feel a little uncomfortable by the inference of Morgan's question.

"We Vulcans usually keep most of our lives secret, especially when it comes to lesser races in the galaxy. As you know, in Vulcan culture we are paired at a young age, I ... have no pair.
That is why I had to take on a more androgyne name, apart from not being able to bare. . .
I guess...Comman...Morgan, do you find me...err...interesting at all?"

She looked away, not being able to maintain eye contact anymore.

Baphomet and Freeman spend the next few hours working together on modifying the Scorpion.  After the readouts show all systems function Freeman grabs Baphomet in a big bear hug shouting
"Its alive. "  

Then feeling a bit embarrased backs off and gets a little quite.

Baphomet looked at Lt. Cmdr. O'Neil with a slightly amused look on her face.

"Mr. O'Neil Chronoton particles and as you stated, anti-Chronoton particles, were a Federation invented particle to explain the Gravitational effect and anomolous quantum particles of Temporal Displacement.
They themselves are not a tangable Subatomic particle and therefore not applicable in this situation."

Baphomet continued...

"The Na'jigat are a Bio-genic lifeform, for lack of a better explaination, which exhibit the same properties as several individual neural networks, that feed off all forms of energy; Whether they have a positive or negative polarity and whether that energy is bio-electric or any other forms of energy in the universe."

"This is why we are trying to produce a null void, or as it also can be explained as zero energy."

[Taurik]

"Welcome to the Rivendell, lieutenant."

Taurik feels the ship rock as it docks with Starbase Avalon.

[Baphomet]

"The Station can move to a new system by itself now Commander, it has a Shift-Drive.
It can simply emit the Gravimtric pulse through the Deflector shield array, sir."

Baphomet continues...

"The only real forseeable problem is a matter of power, fusion reactors do produce enough power to generate a Portal, might I sugest, setting up a Zero Point Energy Converter to power the Shift-Drive and then inevitably the station."

OOC: The benefits of having a Zero Point Energy converter are numerous, but the most importatant is an endless supply of clean and powerful, non destructive, energy production that is greater in out put than an Antimatter/Matter reactor or Quantum Singularity combined.

(OFF: Sorry I've been gone so long. My home internet was cut off, and I've had a hard time getting on. I might be scarce for the next couple weeks.)

"Keep me informed, Commander."

OOC: I am going to play it safe as a character.

IC: Captain the sensors still show all clear to base sir. we can go either way warp six will get us there in ten hours sir a spacial jump sir would get us ther instantly.

Baphomet was in Engineering after lugging the Shift-Drive from the Industrial Replicators.

"With all due respect Commander, it would be more logical if you came to engineering to give me a hand.
With the Na'Jigat on their way we will need this device installed immediately."
"The Shift-Drive will be of a great advantage., sir, we do not need a conferance just yet, we need to be ready."

Baphomet had never dated a human before and was not sure on how to behave and what say.

"Thank you Morgan, so do you."

One thing she did know was that talking about your profession was not only illogical, but a sure way to kill a relationship.

"I hope your dinner is to your liking Morgan, I was unsure of what you consider to be palatable."

The rest of the meal was had in silence, apart from the occasional tid bit of random thoughts, compliments and other such nuiances performed by a pair not knowing the right thing to say.

Dessert was next and even though Vulcans do not eat sweets, Baphomet tried some of Morgans Double chocalate, choc-chip icecream, of which after being in her mouth for no more than a second, ended up on the floor of her quarters.

With Baphomet coughing and drinking water and trying not to embaress herself, looked up to Morgan who was giggling through the whole affair.

She raised an eye, at Morgan, who then tried his best to conceal his amusement.

Later on in the evening, they sat together on the couch drinking Vulcan spice tea, of which Morgan had secretly placed about five lumps of sugar into it when Baphomet had gone to get another cup.

Baphomet looked into his eyes and raised her left hand with the index and middle finger extended, Morgan hesitated for a moment unsure of what to do, until She gently grabbed his wrist and extended his index and middle fingers to mirror her own.
She then prceeded to move her fingers slowly up and down and on top of his own fingers......
