Mission 8: The Battle of Avalon

Baphomet, designer of the Shift-Drive would have been pleased with herself, if she were not a Vulcan.
Years of studying nearly every part of Subspace and coming up with a device which could manipulate all those subatomic particles and energies that exist within Subspace, more often than not failing in the attempt, but finally having her efforts come into fruition, ready to be shown to the Federation, then being told by the V'Shar and the High Command to not present it to Starfleet at all, well any other species in the cosmos might be a little miffed at that.

So Baphomet placed the unit in her personal Shuttle afforded to her by the V'Shar, knowing that logically a situation out here on the frontiers of known space (As far as humans are concerned) would present itself and the Shift-Drive would be needed, who wouldn't want an infallible means of travelling instantaneously anywhere in Space and time?

OFF: Where is everyone? Since 4 days ago everything went dead.

Arriving at the coordinates the two find absolutly nothing.  

"Well send a message back to frontier telling them that we did not find the Admirals.

Computer Music Frank Sanatra the way you look tonight. "

The music starts to play in the background.  

"Well Baphomet. I figured it takes a while for subspace messages to get back and forth."

"We would face a time of defenselessness if I understand you right sir? If such a work of energy were done in the deflector of the ship, or of a part of the ship. If there is to be power left to weapons system...perhaps a distraction? Time is short so a solution will have to be shorter. If you consider that thought I can prepare something in that amount of time".

The Skytoucher came into range at the time, a Hail went to the fleet.

Freeman Returns to the bridge of the Rivendell from engineering

"Ay there Lt. Matthews, I was hoping you where still here.  I have been studing an inhancement the the regenerative shield grid that will allow the shield system to learn the signiture of attacking weapon and adapt to it.  I understand you have great experience with shield systems and was wondering if you could give me a hand to see if we couldn't get the system online before we go off on wherever the heck we are going.  "

Matthews arrived on the bridge in a hurry.
"Lieutenant Matthews reporting at Tactical Sir"

On the bridge, Matthews re-entered.
"Sir, I have transported back from the station. I was the last to leave, so I think we are all in and ready to go".

*Rasmain stared into the distance. He was thinking of the other crewmembers that had given their lives to defend SS Avalon. He had commanded them into various missions and even knew several of them personally.*

"So SS Avalon has survived again, but for how long. This will be a black page in our historybooks, it's just just......"

*The commander stops for a moment and then continues*

"Captain, I have one final request. Can the Skytoucher be towed into SS Avalon? And don't let anyone enter it before the bodies are retrieved and all accounted for. Those officers deserve a proper funeral as they have fought for our survival"

IC: "Commander, we have yet to hear from the Skytoucher or the Tiberon, if they have yet installed the Shift-Drives I have sent them."

Baphomet then showed them on the main veiwer the size and incept ratio of the Na'Jigat.

"The Rivendell alone will not have the capacity to create a null void big enough to effect the Na'jigat, therefore I will have to use my Shuttle to cause any kind of effect to the energy clouds progress."

thats good that you are in full Operational Satus, really Iam not to sure I know that Avalon Sation is Begine Attacked by the psi Warrors unless they do;nt see the Rivendale as  a threat that could be used as an Advantage

OOC: To clear it up for me and Madison, neither of us knew about the 'kidnapping' side thing, nor did either of us want to be involved in it. Because of that mess, I expected nothing and knew nothing, if I am part of the 'they' you refer to.
