"Very good," he says as he sits down in his chair on the bridge. "Ah, I see we have a new helm officer as well. Please put the Task Force Fleet on screen, so we are able to see the USS Cortez, USS Sequoia and USS Tiberon. They are the ones we are supposed to follow. And what is your name, Ms... "Very good, thank you. I guess we're ready for battle as we'll ever be. Mr. Brooks, anything to report on your side?"

*turns to Vurak and speaks in a soft voice*

If I may offer what little knowledge I have assembled about humans, lieutenant, I would say that the captain is undergoing an emotional response to the stress of waiting for the imminent attack. I think the humans call it anxiety...

*turns to the captain*

Sir, still no signs of romulan ships. I can formulate two hypothesis: The ships are either waiting for us to make the first move or there are no ships at all.

If you wish sir, I could help Mr. Reeves (OFF: Sorry but I don't know your rank) to scan the area for cloaked ships using a tightly focused tachion beam. We could also coordinate this search with other vessels of the fleet, in order to increase our chance of finding the ships, should there be any.

Someone can via computer if the message being sent with the virus can somehow be made undetectable without risking loss of life and limb. Use the computer program from a distance. It's needs someone to constantly monitor its progress, but it may be possible.
The problem is detection by their computer systems and the DS12 systems.

Sanchez glares at the viewscreen as the stars become visible again, and the QSN clears away... and what's more: the Romulan warbird in front of them. For some long moments - they seemed to take hours though it was only a matter of seconds - he contemplated on what to do.
And he knew he had no choice this time. It was a decision he had always known that it would one day perhaps be necessary to take, ever since he became captain. Now this moment had come. There was no other option left... they could not run away from the Romulan ship in this condition, they could not fight either, and hiding in the QSN was no longer an option either... so there was only one last resort...
Sanchez got up from his seat, stretched his uniform shirt and gave the final order...

"Mr. Dalon, set a collision course straight toward the Romulan ship, maximum speed possible in this short distance... we're about to ram them!"

*Sanchez hears the incoming transmission and he smiles, but then his face turns serious again and he looks at his first officer.*
"Mr. Brooks, assemble an away team and beam over to the station at once. Take Dr. Keilah with you, for in case our people on there have suffered injuries."

Commander Brooks comes in and hands the captain a padd with crewlists.

"Hmm, it appears that our trusted security officer, Taurik, has gone to Vulcan for... emm.. Ponn Farr. So we are without security officer at the moment. Anyone who can take his place for now?"

[Vurak Spock]

(Vurak looks up at looks at the captain. A wrinkled looking expression on his face as he focuses his attention on the captain. A disconcerted look.)

Captain, I believe you are a bit agitated. Are you having doubts about the situation.
