OOC: As much as I'd love Sel to be promoted to Captain, I'm afraid I must decline.  The reason: I'm in several e-mail sims.  I just barely manage to post in those because Sunday is the only day that I have enough time to write posts.  That means I can only post once a week, not every day or even every two days.

   I'm really, truly sorry about this.  I wish you luck in finding a new Captain for USS Skytoucher.   I fully intend to stay in this sim.  I'll keep posting whenever I can.

Fascinating. By "First One," I assumed you meant our leader...our Captain. But, yes, I am the one who initiated the deflector beam and sent Counselor Stiegler's frequency to you. We only wished to communicate. We sensed that you were in distress and we wished to help free you from the NSC ship and return you to your home. If you search the thoughts of the man you are speaking through, you will understand that we are a peaceful people...
