USS Skytoucher - Mission 3: Joint mission with USS Rivendell

*Rasmain walked away from his console and took the turbolift to deck 6*

"Let's hope this weaponscheck isn't necessary" He mumbled in himself

"Computer unlock weaponschamber, authorization Rasmain- Delta 61"

*The computer accepted his command and the doors opened, the commander started to review the weaponsinventory*

*Suddenly the NSC Ship began to shiver and explosions were sighted. Escapepodds were everywere and the ship was a burning star in the skies. All escape podds went back to their homeworld. With the destruction of the NSC Ship, the USS Rivendell returned back too....was the illusion over?*

Engage engines.- Tell the Rivendell to do the same before we both are getting sucked in to that thing.

Aye, Captain. I shall proceed to the shuttlebay immediately. Mr. Oliveira, the data you've retrieved is most interesting. I will analyze it further on the shuttle's computer and submit a report.

*Skon turns the science station over to another crewmember and heads for the turbolift. He stops by his quarters to retrieve his equipment*

Lt. Skon, I wave no reading on the nav sensors of any warp signature or ion trail comming from the "moon". If it is a ship, it's not active. But it may be a small orbital station...

Captain, I've uploaded the data we received to the main computer. We were running passive scans in the midst of heavy interference, so I'm unsure as to the quality of the information we received. My preliminary analysis indicates that we are up against a ship that easily outguns and outruns us. But I would appreciate independent analysis from other members of the bridge crew.

   Lt. Cmdr./CMO Selda Zax, an adult female Joined Beta Trill, got the med emergency message from Trustin.  His name was unfamiliar to her.  Sel quickly understood that Trustin must've newly arrived aboard the USS Skytoucher.  

   Sel activated the EMH.  "Please state the nature of the medical emergency", said the human male holo dubbed "Dr. Marcus Welby" to Sel.  

   "Dr. Marcus, please take over sickbay.  I am going to the Bridge to treat two fallen officers.  You will be dismissed when I return", Sel told Dr. Marcus.

    Dr. Marcus took the CMO's console while Sel rushed to the nearest TL.  

    Moments later, Sel knelt between the two officers who were lying on the Bridge deck.  She swept her tricorder over both of them.  When the tricorder's display showed their condition, Sel treated them quickly and efficiently.  

   Sel then stood back up.  She faced the Captain while still standing between the two officers: "Sir, I have just given them the appropriate treatment for their condition.  With your permission, may I please stay on the Bridge to see if the treatment was effective or not?"  

   Sel stood at perfect attention, medkit in hand, waiting to see if the Captain would reply or not.

*Tomas screamed, was this another illusion? Was it the real Rivendell? It was offly close anyway.*

Take us away from the Rivendell, 10 000 meters!

I can only recommend not to open fire, not even for a warning shot. The situation would only escalate dramatically. But Lt. Skon is right, we need a diversionary tactic. I suggest we hail them again - maybe discussing our surrender or our retreat will give us enough time to establish communication with the energy lifeforms. Skon, what about the main deflector? With help of Cmdr. Zax' data, are you able to establish a beam synchronized with my telepatic frequency?
