USS Skytoucher Mission 5: the Dark Passage Treaty

Progress in his removing of the debris has been going well. Talking to himself he says that there cannot be too much more debris in his way.

In the tired state in which Cano is in he thinks that he hears some movement of a search party near by, though he is unable to tell which direction the noise is sounding from. However, he starts to make a little noise himself to see if they would hear him and then be on there why to check out where the banging was coming from.

Mr. Robinson, ask the crew of the Hideki Mora if they require transport, perhaps we can tow them into our shuttle bay.

Mr. Zentox, would you like to send someone down to sickbay to give the death rights?

"Well since Miss Zayan is a sleep, I think my services are required on the bridge. Excuse me Doctor."

Marcet leaves sickbay and heads to a turbolift. He ordered it to move to the bridge and after arrival he stepped out. On the viewscreen he could see Vontak Nor, still in top shape.

"Captain Burma, you will not receive any answer. The station comms-array must be down and our agent aboard will not respond to unidentified spacecrafts. I would suggest to send in an away-team, so that we can revive the Stations main systems and allow engineering teams to transport down to repair and activate other systems. We left the station intact but there are, ofcourse, defensive systems active which have been given the task to terminate alien-infiltrants. I know the codes to switch off these systems and give a green light to your engineering officers. "

[Sirius Black]

*meets with Lupins team*

"Tom, whats your situation?"

Black looks at them and smiles

"Right now we are trying to get Communications. But i can work with that. If you have a full team then i think main power is something for you. "

The Skytoucher and the T'Pol turn and begin another attack. The Skytoucher fires her forward phasers and a full spread of torpedoes directly into the Loxian flagship. Meanwhile, the T'Pol takes out three more Loxian fighters. Then, the sensors cry out. "Commander," Rasmain says, "I'm picking up Loxian reinforcements coming in from the asteroid field." Skon looks at the sensor data and sends a message to the Romulan fleet and the Vontak Nor...

We are picking up Loxian reinforcements coming from the asteroid field. General Qrell, if you have any other ships you could call up, I would appreciate it. Otherwise, we are about to be overwhelmed. Gul Marcet, what is the status of the station?

Meanwhile, a hazy, purple tendril snakes through the bulkhead behind Skon. He doesn't see it, but it's coming right for him...

"Commander Skon, how many people could your ship transport to station Vontak Nor? We could check the bays to see if there are still shuttles available, but don't hope for wonders. As for the entity that has attacked us... I know but little more than you do. I was very young when it attacked us 45 years ago, but the memory of the horror is very vivid still. All I know is that they are not humanoid beings like you and me, but they are some form of pure energy I've never encountered before. I have no clue where they come from, but they seem to like to... swallow any form of energy they find. It appears to make them stronger. They attacked us as a wave back then as well, but they are more than just some form of energy... they are also mental energy, and they are able to plant any image in your mind as they want. They know everything about you, they know what I'm saying right now and what you are thinking right now, they can appear to you in whatever form they may like. If they want to appear as an armada of ships, they can... even though they don't need or use ships to move and live. When they attacked us last time, they never returned since. I doubt they will return to this place soon, a they have probably gotten what they came for anyway: energy. But it doesn't mean we should waste any more time here than needed, if they return we are all forsaken."

[Loxians]

*The flagship shudders again under heavy impact, and many panels explode.*
"This is not going good, sir! We need the back-up formation!"
"Fine, fine! Send a message to the hidden back-up fleet to appear and open fire immediately!"
"Yes sir!"
"And let's hope that our extra hidden secret will do its work soon as well..."
*And moments later, a fresh and strong fleet of extra Loxian battleships appears out of the asteroid field and immediately opens fire on the Romulan ships, causing heavy damage. Other ships of this fleet turn their attention to Vontak Nor, shaking the station around, and then the Skytoucher is next...*

*Side jefferies tube exit flys open and Lupin crawls out severly cut*
"I was trapped sir....I'll be fine though. Where do you need me?"

Skon watches as Tyn materializes in his seat. Reaching back into his immense knowledge of previous Starfleet missions, he believes he knows what she is.
