USS Skytoucher Mission 5: the Dark Passage Treaty

"Well, I should head back to my own ship. I'm sure I'm facing alot of repairs there too."
*Sanchez touches his combadge, but it gives a denying tone.*
"Right, communications aren't working yet. Any idea when they'll be operational again?"

[Doctor]

"Hello, Commander Skon, Captain Burma.  Perhaps we should save mission space in this topic and meet in the Ready Room?  The Bridge can always call us on the intercom if anything happens while we are meeting."

[Omak]

Tractor Beam ready at your command Captain.

[Will Robinson]

Will went to his quarters and changed into a new uniform.

"That feels better."

After taking a quick drink of water, he headed for the bridge.

[Zentox]

OFF: yes, Zayan has been in some fight, but we don't officially know yet why, or who attacked her. *Zentox nods at Skon, and presses some buttons on the panel in front of him.*
"Captain, we are now within visual range, we are nearing the colony and outer mining facility. I will put it on screen for you."
*On the main screen of the bridge, appeared a view of colonies built on large asteroids, and small orbiting stations and Loxian ships. It was huge, more than could possibly fit the viewscreen, and in all kind of shapes and forms. It was like a whole city drifting in space on a field of asteroids. But the moment of awe, soon turns into horror... when Zentox magnifies the view, and the screen displays how all those asteroid colonies were in ruin, utterly destroyed... Zentox moves the screen to other areas, and one is even worse than the other. Debris is drifting free in space everywhere, and not only debris... the orbiting space stations have huge holes of destruction, and some have broken apart in several parts even. And as if that is not enough, there are also a number of Loxian ships adrift, dead in the water, or as good as destroyed...*
"In the name of the Goddess Tazay... this... this cannot be! What happened here that can cause such amount of destruction?"
*He quickly taps some buttons on his panel, and then his face turns utterly white, as if he is about to faint. Then he looks up at captain Burma.*
"Captain, according to your ship's sensors, I read 178 Loxian life signs in this entire area."
*He wants to continue to speak, but has to take a deep breath first.*
"There were about 800 Loxians living here, when I was last here, about a week ago."

OFF: the Hideki Mora, Marcet's ship, is drifting around there too, attacked by the same evil (as the Hideki Mora had departed Avalon earlier than the Skytoucher). [Vakin]

"Well, I don't care who hears it! At least they won't be able to say they weren't warned. And I'm only warning you for a fleet of power that has abandoned me to death just the same, so we're pretty much in the same boat together."

[Rasmain]

"Allright evasive maneuvers activated Sir."

The Skytoucher made its way passing two Loxian Ships and after that it made a sudden turn.

"Sir, I do not know how long I can evade these Loxian Cruisers as there are so many of them and almost all are firing at us"

The Skytoucher passed one more Loxian Cruiser before the ship began to shake again. The Skytoucher was under fire again, but rasmain kept working and tried to evade as many ships and enemy-fire as possible.

[Jesse Nofftz]

OFF: The skytoucher shakes.

ON: Aye Aye Sir. Firing torpedos. (tha bridge takes a direct hit and sparks fly. Phasers have been disabled all we have is torpedos. We just lost port sheilds.

[Jesse Nofftz]

Sir, I also request permission to be on the away team. I think I could find the doctor if only I could get to my post on the bridge. I suggest everyone be armed and every senoir officer be escorted by at least one security officer.

[Rasmain]

"Goodday Commander good to have you back"

Rasmain jumps up from behind a console and moves towards the Commander

"The Loxian Commander is awaiting a response on our presence here. I did not reply until I had more information about our status. I have just been told that we are unable to contact Avalon Station, because the Dark Passage is interferring with any outgoing signal. There are no further things of importance to tell at this point, I hope I have given you enough information."

[Omak]

Captain,

              " I detect no man made structures with in the

passage." "There is a ship in orbit of the Station." "We

are being scanned."

[Event Horizon]

*The massive cloud keeps pursuing the Loxian ships. Some manage to escape, but most ships are caught and don't survive for long.*
"ENERGY! ENERGY! Want more energy! Na'jigat STRONG again! Na'jigat wants more! Na'jigat wants..."
*At that moment, some bright light seems to come from the Evolution, though it has nothing to do with the ship's systems or weapons itself, and seems to radiate naturally.  The bright light starts to concentrate and grow stronger, and move toward the Na'jigat cloud...*
"Na'jigat sense danger! DANGER!"
"No! Na'jigat must feed, Na'jigat strong enough to resist all danger!"
"SENSE DANGER! GALLIFREYANS HAVE COME!"
"Na'jigat strong enough to destroy Gallifreyans now!"
"NO! Gallifreyans attacking! Telephatic power! Gallifreyans hiding on Evolution!"
"IMPOSSIBLE! We know all, we sense all, we know when Gallifreyans come, and we sense nothing now!"
"GALLIFREYANS ARE SHIELDING THEMSELVES FROM OUR TELEPHATIC POWERS! THEY HIDE!"
"THEY ATTACK!"
"Must flee! Must flee now!"
*At that moment, the white flowing energy impacts with the massive cloud, and a huge flash of dark and light illuminates half the Dark Passage.*
"ENERGY DROWNED! GALLIFREYAN ASSAULT! FLEE! FLEE!"
*And instantly, the massive cloud abandons all the remaining Loxian ships, and makes its escape back into the quantum singularity network it came from. In a matter of seconds, it disappears in there, pursued by the bright light. The bright light doesn't enter the singularities, but slows down and fades away at the borders of the quantum singularity network...*

[Randall Sanchez]

*At that moment, the ship shudders once more as a shot of the Loxians manages to pass by the Evolution to hit the Skytoucher. A panel explodes near Vakin, and the Loxian is thrown on the floor.*
"Doctor Keilah, man down! Quick!"
*Sanchez and Keilah hurry toward the Loxian, who has injuries and scars on his faces and arms, but he can still get up.*
"Are you all right?"
*Sanchez bends down to help Vakin get up. Suddenly he hesitates, and gives Keilah a glance.*
"Doctor, do you also think what I think?"

[Skon]

The Skytoucher rocks violently under heavy fire from the Loxians. Skon watches as four Romulan War Birds decloak and fire on the two Loxian escort ships.

Damage report, all stations.

OFF: In case anyone didn't know, the Tal Shair have arrived to help us. They've been posting in the "Vontak Nor" forum on the "Expansion Sector" page...

Captain Sanchez, are you certain you should go alone? Perhaps my tactical officer, Mr. Rasmain, should come with you. He is skilled in combat and the siutation will be dangerous. I cannot spare any more crew from the bridge than that...we have our hands full just holding the ship together.

Very good, Mr. Bagget. Do the best you can. These are difficult circumstances.
