USS Skytoucher Mission 5: the Dark Passage Treaty

The Skytoucher rocks under heavy Loxian fire. Rhade, at the tactical station, falls back and hits his head. He slumps to the deck. Skon looks over at Rhade and sees that his tactical officer is injured. With his Vulcan ears, Skon hears Rasmain's whisper.

I agree, Mr. Rasmain. Evasive maneuvers. Get us out of the thick of the fight and be prepared to turn and attack.

Mr. Nofftz, take the tactical station. Fire a spread of torpedoes at those Loxian fighters and then calculate an attack pattern we can use as soon as we get some room to maneuver.

Mr. Lupin, transfer all available power to the shields. Get a damage control team up here to help put out these fires and give me an updated damage report.

Skon looks up at the viewscreen to see the Loxian fleet reforming.

The next few hours will, indeed be crucial, Commander Rasmain. We need key systems to be repaired. Take the helm.

Mr. Lupin, good work. Keep the Ops position and let us know the movements of the Loxian fleet.

Mr. Nofftz, take tactical and be prepared to fire as soon as we have enough power.

OFF: yes, the colony is built on the asteroids. Not just one, but several asteroids together have been built on. The one the away team will beam over to, is one of the largest around though. There are also small space stations drifting between the asteroids, and Loxian ships, all more or less destroyed.

Good. We will continue to beam your seriously wounded back to the Skytoucher. Our shuttles will be arriving shortly, and we can leave as soon as we've made sure that all of your people are safely away.
