USS Skytoucher Mission 5: the Dark Passage Treaty

Dr Keilah was sitting underneath one of the consoles on the bridge and was waiting for the end. He had put Vakin to sleep and then also proceeded to the bridge. He then saw Captain Sanchez.

"Well Captain, it was an honour serving with you. Let's hope there is something after this life, because I don't want this to be my last time that I can wear any of my special underwear." He then blushes and stands up turning to the viewscreen.

As the Captain and Dr Keilah watched the viewscreen, they saw short images of what happened outside and around their ship. They were both waiting for the final blow but this moment seemed to last forever.

"Is...Am I right or.....what the....Captain, what is happening out there??"

[Zayan]

"I understand your reasoning. In any other circumstances, I would have disagreed, but in the near future, me and my people will have our hands full settling on the station, and keeping enemies away from it. You have helped us a great deal, which proves to me we can trust you. I trust you will return Vakin to us eventually."

[Roland Burma]

Mr. Rasmain, believing our new friends to be violent might not be a good idea, but I agree with your hesitation. You may send your security teams. But only put them in high risk areas. Like  engineering and the computer core and where ever you find needs higher protection.

And commander, see if you can't ease the Loxians comfort by bringing them items like blankets and pillows, also have the Doctor take care of all the sick and injured.

There are two possibilites, One is that they have devolped new technology and the other is they have a spy on board. I highly doubt it was new technology.

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez was still messing with the broken control panel next to the shuttlebay door, trying to get the door to open by more unconventional means. Suddenly, the door slides open.*
"YES! Got it! Mr. Rasmain, Dr. Keilah, follow me. But Vakin careful, he may be luring for us."
*Sanchez raised his phaser and carefully walked into the shuttlebay.*

On the bridge, Cano's message is finally received.

Message received Lieutennant. It is good to hear that you survived. There is a search and rescue team in your area. They should have you out of there soon.

Mr. Russo, we have received a transmission from Mr. Cano. He is trapped on deck 5. Are you able to assist him?

Perhaps you can, General. Things in this part of space are changing. Maybe one day, you can return. In the meantime, we need to get out of here as quickly as possible -- and start treating your wounded.

We are prepared to begin beaming the Loxian survivors aboard. The most seriously wounded should beam up first and the rest of us will follow.

OFF: No insult intended either, Doc. You're right, we need to move this story along.

Mr. Robinson is preparing to evacuate the rest of the wounded. He estimates 20 minutes to beam them all aboard. He will coordinate with your nurses to ensure an orderly evacuation.

=A= Skon out.

Skon looks up as the shuttles land. He motions to Marcet and Zentox to help him get the refuges aboard. Then, the ground shakes again.  Many of the Loxians are frightened, but they trust their leader, Geneal Zentox. When he speaks, they begin filing into the shuttles. The ground shakes again.

[Vakin]

*Vakin sits down on the bench in his cell, leans back and grumbles.*
"I told them, and they wouldn't listen! Stupid humans! The Loxian Government will always wipe out its traces, and remove any opponents they may fear. That's why they sent a suicide spy after me to silence me too!"

[Zentox]

*On the viewscreen, the asteroids finally make way for an open field, which Zentox remembered to be the narrow passway between the asteroid field and the Quantum Singularity Network... the Dark Passage. And there, in the distance it was... Vontak Nor.*
"Safe at our new home at last..." he whispered to himself.

[Will Robinson]

Please send down shuttles to increase the speed of evacuation.

[Rasmain]

Rasmain was still evading the most Loxian ships but the Skytoucher was still under heavy fire.

"Commander Skon, I can evade but those Loxians are not giving me an opening to escape. Fighting our way out seems to be the best solution. The flagship's cruisers have been destroyed by the Tal Shiar, but it's now protected by a small group of fighters...shall I try to get their attention...and also the attention of the flagship?"

[Montrell]

*For some time, commander Burma had been on board Avalon Station for debriefing, and routine work on the U.S.S. Skytoucher remained the same as normal. But the crew did not know what news Burma soon would bring them...*

OFF: And the rest I leave up to you as soon as you have left Montrell's office and beam back to the ship :P

We need to act fast, we don't know when the ailens

will appear. We need to do some major changes to

sensors to even detect them. I suggest we get busy!
