Meanwhile Rasmain was standing behind Captain Sanchez in the Shuttle

"No Captain, it's all right Miss Zayan is no saboteur. She is an important officer of General Zentox"

Rasmain walks in front of Captain Sanchez and holds his hand on the Captains phaser.

"It's all right Sir, Vakin is no longer a threat but the other Loxian battleships are."

Rasmain turned to Zayan

Rasmain then looked at Captain Sanchez who had slowly lowered his phaser.

"Well Captain, it may be wise to go back to the bridge and take Vakin with us. There we can devise a plan to survive this nasty situation"

Understood Mr. Lupin. Keep me updated. We might need to arrange for station Avalon to ship more supplies to the base if much of the Loxian stores have been damaged.

Mr. Cano, it is good to see that you survived. You have been to sickbay, what is your opinion of the crew's morale?

Helm: Sir, we are orbiting Vontak Nor. We can initiate docking procedures at any time.

Understood, but if there are Loxian traditions that you wish to be included in the ceremony, I am certain that Captain Burma would approve. We can discuss that further when I board the station. In the meantime, we are orbiting Vontak Nor and are prepared to dock on your command.

[Marcet]

As Marcet was sitting behind one of the consoles in the shuttle, looking at the stars and debrees of starships he suddenly noticed the Hideki Mora. She was drifting in space, not giving a sense of life and Marcet thought he would never she her again. He turned to Vakin*

"Mr Vakin, did you see it? Did you also experience this strange feeling. I have been in many battles and extreme situations, but I have never had this strange feeling over my whole body."

Marcet stopped and took one final look at his old ship

"I will miss her you know, she was my ship for many years now. She didn't deserve this defeat, this fight was unfair, the victory was already given....that beast! Next time we will prevail, even if there are lives at stake"

[Skon]

The viewscreen flickers again and the crew can see the Evolution move into place.

A brave move. Perhaps Captain Sanchez has bought us a little time.

Mr. Nofftz, I need as much of a damage report as you can give me. Can you determine the status of the escape pods and shuttlecraft?

Mr. Lupin, go down to engineering and get a report from Mr. Black. If we don't have communications, we shall have to do things by hand.

[Zentox]

*Zentox gives Vakin a smile.*
"Vakin, my old friend. I owe you an apology... you did show wisdom aboard the Tazay, when you sent out that distress call. Thanks to your actions back then, we now have the much needed support of these Starfleet people here. Without them, we would all be lost now. Let's save what we can. Go ahead and lead the evacuation, Vakin. Hurry, there isn't much time left."
*Vakin nods, and runs back to another area, already shouting to the people to group them together and start the evacuation. Then, Zentox looks back at commander Skon.*
"65 people can be transported by our own means. That means there are only little more than a 100 survivors left without transport. Would there be enough space on your ship, Mr. Skon, to take them to Vontak Nor? You don't need to supply quarters for each of them, like you did fore me... they are used to living packed together, and Vontak Nor is not far from here, merely a few hours away maximum."

[Rasmain]

Rasmain entered the bridge

"Torpedosystems are operational again, Captain. We are fully armed again."

Rasmain stepped behind his console and began to perform scans which were already initiated by the ensign who he had relieved.

[Tom Lupin]

"Thats pretty clean cut, I'd feel much safer if we stunned him here"

[Jonathan Mason]

Aye Captian, slowing to 1/4 impulse.

*the ship slowed to 1/4 impulse as the engines made a quiet humming sound as they slowed down*

[Vakin]

"They are mad! Mad! I don't know what we could do... run away?"

[Skon]

Skon listens to the reports and examines the readouts across his screen. There's obviously nothing out there. But in the back of his mind, he feels contact. They are here. Somewhere.

Captain, I can't explain it, but I believe there is something out there. I suggest we continue full scans as we approach Vontak Nor.

Skon turns around as he hears the alert sirens blare. Around the ship, lights come back on and computer stations return to life.

Mr. Rasmain, cancel red alert.

Mr. Black, it appears that most internal communications have been reestablished. Now that we have main power back, perhaps we sould focus on the eingines.

Captain Sanchez, now that power has been restored, we should be able to transport you and your people back to the Evolution fairly soon.

Fine, Mr. Black find a higher quaintine field level and put the device in a transportable container. After the quarintine field has been established I want you to get it off the ship. I don't care how. But by the time  the Captain gets back I want it gone.

As the humans would say, "good luck." Update us on your progress as often as you can, and be careful.
