Indeed, Mr. Nofftz. I believe your conclusion is quite logical, especially given the fact that General Qrell has informed us that the Loxians began beaming exiles off the Skytoucher as soon as the shields went down. How did they know when to begin beaming unless they had a spy on board? And that spy could now be on board this ship. I suggest we proceed with caution.

Skon resumes his normal speaking voice.

If the Doctor was "in flux" when we beamed, we need to find out where he is. Mr. Nofftz, see if you can locate him. I imagine the Romulans will assist you with their sensor equipment.

General, you have saved us for the moment, but there is still a mighty Loxian fleet out there. Perhaps we should begin making battle plans.

*** I step out of the Turbolift and make my way to engineering.  Dodging, falling debris and walking in and out of flickering lights along the passageways.

I make my way to engineering, watching crewmembers running about making repairs to the panels.

With all of the confusion in Engineering, I can barely tell who the officer in Charge is or even where the Chief Engineer is.  I decide to yell out:

"LTJG Russo here, awaiting for orders on any assistance needed in repairs."

While the Cardassian Gul was standing with the Starfleet away team, he had not responded to the request of Commander Skon.

"Sorry Commander, I wasn't paying attention. You asked me about medical help, unfortunately I have no resources at my disposal. The internal sensors weren't picking up any lifesigns, I was hoping that others had survived the attack but I think they all died in battle. Are there other things in which I could assist?"

Commander Skon, The life support systems are in good shape for now. But I can't say how they will be if the Loxians keep firing on us.
