*Zayan nods at the Starfleet officers, and then gives Zentox a serious look.*
"Do you remember what happened 45 years ago?"
*Zentox did not speak, but his eyes told her he knew exactly what had happened, even though he, and Zayan herself as well, was still very young back then.*
"They came back... it was like a wave, a wave of blinding bright energy that struck everything in its path. We fired our weapons as best as we could, we sent our ships to fight and stop it, but we had discovered it too late. It had surprised us by coming out of nowhere. It's tricking our minds! I don't know what it is, but I'm glad it's gone... for now. There is no defense against it, whatever it is, and if you use firepower, you only make it stronger.... because it absorbs the energy, like it absorbed almost all our energy supplies."
*She grabbed Zentox by the shoulders, as an act of despair.*
"Zentox, this is the end of our dreams. We are lost now. Before this, we might once have had a chance to win our homeworld back, but now our power is gone. Almost all our ships are destroyed, most of our colonies are wiped out, and only a handful of people survived. We're doomed."

Perhaps you are correct Mr. Robinson. We need information, but we do not want to harm our newly-formed friendship with the Loxians. You have spent more time with them than I have. If you believe they are telling us everything they know, then I trust your judgement.

Let's wrap this search for survivors up and get back to the ship.

Skon and Lupin rejoin the rest of the crew, who have not heard their conversation. The assembled oficers have all gathered their phasers

General Qrell, we are prepared to beam out.

Qrell nods and issues orders to his staff. And the away team disolves into nothingness

[Doctor]

As the Loxians and the aliens leave the vicinity, the Doctor emerges from his trance and bounces to his feet.  "What a nice nap that was," he exclaims.  He hears Tim Russo contact the Bridge and he also signals with his comm badge.

"May I assume the aliens have left in good order?  I have a feeling we are safe for now.  What is your reading on the situation?"

Black finishes in the aft station

"I have Comm links with Decks 2 3 and 4. It will take time for the lower decks."

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez hears the familiar voice of his first officer, and turns around with a smile.*
"Commander, it is good to see you again! I trust you have kept the Evolution in one piece?"

[Doctor]

"I have sent the Medical Log to the Sickbay computer for your convenience."

*Suddenly, the viewscreen of the Skytoucher's bridge blinks on, and a female Loxian appears. She looked like a strong woman, one who clearly would be able to take care of herself if attacked. Yet her face was full of scratches, her clothes dirty and bloody. Nevertheless, she smiles as soon as she sees Zentox on the bridge.*
"General Zentox. It is good to see you have followed my advice and trusted these people after all."
*Then her eyes turned to the captain and first officer. They were clearly looking astonished, and with reason. All the Skytoucher had been able to do, was send out an audio-only comm-link, and the Loxians were able to reply with a visual comm-link. The sensor equipment the Loxians used, were clearly more sophisticated indeed...*
"Captain, Commander. I assure you, we will not attack your ship. Even if we wanted to, we would not be able to, as you soon will find out when you arrive at our location. However, I do not wish to discuss what happened here, over an open channel. It is safer if we speak in person. Zayan out."

[Dunatis Cano]

Cano takes a short trip to check with the doctor about his physical well being, and then decides to report to the bridge. On the way to the bridge he uses his communicator to tell thanks to his rescuers.

Cano finally makes it to the bridge to see what orders are waiting for him.

OFF: Skon I have answered your massage that you sent me.

*Roland stands up tugs his shirt down *

How many more shuttles are left? I want to get out of this area, Before anything bad happens.

Put the main colony on the viewscreen.

Sir, Starboard Sheilds are down. We can't take much more of this. Firng torpedos in despersial pattern sierra. One enemy target hit sir.
