Skon pulls Lupin aside...away from where the other crewmembers can hear.

Mr. Lupin, stay sharp. We have reason to believe that there is a spy on board, and I think I know who he is...

Hmmm. Mr. Nofftz, the Romulans have been recalled to their station. We do not have access to their ships at this time. I think we shall have to leave it up to the Evolution to warn Starphoenix.

Mr. Balkazar, please assist Mr. Black in restoring communications.

Ms. Lauren, I believe Mr. Black and his crew are working on the comms. If your team could work on restoring main power, that might make things proceed more swiftly.

[Vakin]

*Vakin rushes back onto the bridge.*
"This is bad! Commander, they clearly no longer care to capture any of the Loxian exiles, or get Kowan back were he aboard the ship at all. They just want to see us destroyed!"

I'm sure it will be soon. As for me, it was easy, I didn't take any belongings with me to this ship in the first place - not that I would have much to take with me anyway."

The senior officers walk back onto the bridge and take their stations.

Mr. Bagget, what is our ETA to Avalon?

Mr. Lupin, as soon as we have cleared the asteroid field try to contact the station and inform them of our situation.

"I would say, that in the first place, Vakin needs to be judged according to Loxian justice, but the problem is, that we're working here with people that have been expelled from their own homeworld themselves. What makes the situation even more difficult, is the fact that Vakin did operate on a Federation starship, and used it to perform his plans of sabotage and destruction, for which he should answer to Federation court. Perhaps an agreement can be made with Zayan, that Vakin is turned over to station Avalon's, JAG office for a trial, though we can only use his sabotage attempts at the Skytoucher against him. After that, he could be handed over to Zayan."

[Vakin]

*Vakin enters the bridge, even though his presence had not been requested and he had been in sickbay all this time. He looks at the viewscreen and sees the Loxian government fleet at the horizon.*
"So the confrontation has come to pass at last. Can I be of any assistance here?"

Mr. Russo, Mr. Rasmain, please report to Sickbay. The Doctor has found something interesting that I believe you should look at. Mr. Nofftz, you have the bridge. Begin scheduling crewmembers for shore leave. All crew assigned to non-essential duties are invited to the reception in Celtic Corner on the station.

OFF: Starwind, welcome aboard. For the time being, there's the party in Celtic Corner. And you can always volunteer to help Black with repairs. What position have you been assigned to?

*Meanwhile, at the distant horizon of the Dark Passage, deep inside the Quantum Singularity Network, a power beyond imagination sleeps, rests and licks its wounds... Not too long ago it had concentrated all its might on an attack of ships in a region far beyond the Dark Passage, but some unexpected counter attack from the Gallifreyans had driven them back... wounded and weary... Now they lay hidden, unseen, unknown, in the Quantum Singularity Network where no ship could come... They had lost alot of energy in the last unsuccesfull assault and they were weary... The Na'jigat always needs energy... But as they sleep and rest, they sense energy... strong energy...*
"Reading energy... Coming from inside Dark Passage... Humanoid brain waves... Reading... Loxians, Humans, Cardassians, Romulans... Anger... firepower... much energy! Na'jigat needs energy to recover! Needs it soon!"
"No... Na'jigat must rest and recover..."
"Na'jigat NEEDS ENERGY!"
"No... Na'jigat too weak... If Gallifreyans come again, we cannot fight them..."
"No sign of Gallifreyans..."
"Gallifreyans know how to mask their sign... Gallifreyans can hide their brain path waves from us... We can never be sure..."
"Remain on distance... wait until humanoids are weary... Then attack..."
*And so, the living cloud of energy called the Na'jigat, remains hidden and unknown, deep inside the Quantum Singularity Network, far beyond the reach of any sensors, not that they would be detected if they were nearby... and from a distance, they listen... quietly...*

[Doctor]

(Vakin, the Loxian representative, walks into Sickbay.  The Doctor and Nurse Wynn greet him somberly and escort him to the appropriate cots in the back of Sickbay.  A screen hides them from view of the other patients, but some Loxians see their comrade and seem to sense what is about to happen.  A strange sound hums from their throats and is taken up by even the unconscious Loxians.  The room suddenly seems to feel smaller and the air fills with a respectful hush. )
