USS Skytoucher Mission 5: the Dark Passage Treaty

I exit the  halfway working turbolift onto the bridge, looking around I am in awe how damaged the bridge is.  Looking battered myself with blood all over my uniform,  I report to the bridge to assist in repairs."  

"Captain, LTJG Russo reporting in to assist in repairs.  Sir, I appologize for the look of my uniform, haven't had the chance to change after my visit to sickbay."

[Jesse Nofftz]

Firing Torpedos. (The ship shakes) sparks fly from my post I fall to the ground. I get back up. "I am alright sir". Starboard sheilds at 9%. One more hit they will collapse.  

[Vakin]

"Hmm... why are the Romulans leaving so soon? Are they scared of the Loxian fleet?"

[Zayan]

*Zayan stares at Zentox, almost in disbelief, and then stares at the Starfleet officers.*
"I can hardly believe it, the Goddess Tazay must truly have shown us some mercy after all, to send us this aid just now. I haven't been able to assess the full damage the attack has caused, but I'm afraid there will be but small chances to find any of our ships in the vicinity still operationial. We should still have some small shuttles available in the bays, but I don't even know if those bays are still whole. I am more than willing to offer any help with the evacutation, wherever I can be useful."

[Telemachus Rhade]

Yes, sir, I am familiar with Starfleet Tactical Systems. Although the Klingon Academy merely taught us how to circumvent and defend against them, not how to use them, I did minor in Tactical at Starfleet Academy. Why do you ask, sir?

Rhade and Skon make their way into the  turbolift. Rhade instructs the lift to head to the Bridge and it whirls away at top-speed

*Meanwhile on the bridge*

"I am sorry for my late response Sir, but I was working on several diagnostics. Do you still think that I am needed below decks?"

[Skon]

The Skytoucher shakes under the fire of the Loxian ships. Sparks fly from various stations. Skon almost falls down, but manages to hold onto the arm of the Captain's chair. He then promptly sits down.

Mr. Lupin, damage report.

Mr. Rasmain, execute evasive maneuvers. Get us closer to the station so that all of the Loxian ships are in point-blank range.

Mr. Rhade, fire at will.

By my calculations, there are 10 Loxian ships in this fleet, but I do not have accurate data. Given the sensor anomalies in this area, there could be more...

"Sir, may I request that Vakin is handed over to us, once we have fully moved in on Vontak Nor? We will keep him safely locked up there, so he won't be able to repeat his actions again."

[Doctor]

(Aboard the USS Skytoucher, in Engineering)

The Doctor tries his commbadge, but it is still fizzing.  Making his way quickly to the nearest turbolift, he heads for Sickbay.

The Doctor enters Sickbay just as the alien tendril phases through the bulkhead from space.  It drifts toward the Doctor who quickly runs into his office and snatches up his cat, Wycliff.  "Where have you been, puss," he asks.  Thankfully, the office has two doors, and the Doctor collects his satchel of personal effects and hastily runs out of the empty Sickbay.  Whatever's happening can't be stopped in Sickbay.  The Bridge, however, might be useful.  First things first, however...

The Doctor stops at a wall panel computer display.  "Computer, do you recognise me, the Doctor?"
*Yes, Doctor Smith, how may I assist you?*

"Is there anyone else on the Skytoucher aside from me?"

*Scanning... negative, Doctor Smith, there is no one else aboard the Skytoucher at this time.*

"Where is the Skytoucher?  Where is the crew of the Skytoucher?"

*The Skytoucher is currently adrift near Vontak Nor Station in disputed space.  The crew is not aboard the Skytoucher.*

'Very helpful,' the Doctor mutters and then says, "Computer, lock all command functions to my psionic pattern as stored in my personal medical file, authorization Doctor (a string of numbers and letters)."

*Done.*

"Computer, do not allow anyone computer access unless I approve in person, understood?"

*I will comply.*

"Good.  Now I'm being followed by some sort of energetic purple tendril, do your sensors detect it?"

*Scanning... Negative, Doctor Smith, there is no reading of anoyone else aboard the Skytoucher.*

"Maybe it's in my mind?  Maybe it is a mind!  Oh yes, I remember a little... a group mind calling to me... yuck!  I hate mind control!  Computer, send out a distress signal on all communications frequencies.  Give our position and current crew compliment and say that immediate assistance is needed."

*Doctor Smith, current space conditions are not suitable for communications.  The message will not be able to transmit more than approximately 100 kilometers.  Shall I proceed?*

"Yes, yes, do it.  And just call me Doctor, please."

Hmmm...That seems odd. What type of radiation? Perhaps Mr. Black could help shed some light on the matter. Whatever you do, be careful with that device. If it's emmiting radiation, it could be much more than a communicator...Keep me updated.

*From the Loxian flagship, the governement representative looks at the viewscreen at how his extra fleet moves in, preparing to destroy his enemies utterly. But he knows it won't be enough...*
"d*mn it, how long is he taking? He should have sent it by now!"
"Nothing so far..."
*Then the newcoming Loxian ships open fire on the Romulan ships, driving them back, and then turn to Vontak Nor and the Skytoucher.*
"Sir, secure call!"
"AH!"
"Yes, yes! He's got it! The Skytoucher's shields has a shield modulation frequency of 1.8565. If we time our shot well, we can get them dead in space. And they don't know we know, haha!"
"Good! See, I told you how important it was to have a spy among the Loxian rebels, and his presence aboard the Skytoucher will now turn the tide into our favor. Prepare to fire! Aim their engines!"
"Yes, sir! Ready! This shot will penetrate right through their shield at the right moment that the shields wont reflect it, and will hit their engines directly!"
"Good. FIRE!"

[Daniel Bagget]

*Lt Bagget walks onto the bridge*  Reporting for duty sir.  *Takes helm*  Lets see what she has, what are your  orders captain?

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez, Rasmain and Keilah run into engineering to pursue Vakin, trying to find him among the crowd of officers.*
"Someone stop him! Stop Vakin! He's a saboteur!"
*Sanchez sees that Vakin is firing at some officers in the distance, and wants to grab his own phaser to aim at Vakin.*
"Oh d*mnit! I forgot that Vakin stole my phaser, now I got none!"
*At that moment, he sees a phaser in a nearby officer's pocket, and as he runs by, he grabs it and takes it out of the pocket.*
"Sorry, mate, I'll return it later!"
*And they run on.*

*sees we are back at avalon station and sighs with relief*

Get redy to move our 3 guests when its time

So that was yet another Q we had to meet.....Interesting......I dont think i like Qs who can manipulate the very foundation of space and time....And make you be weaponless.....I dont like that at all......

So shall we get some R&R before we haveta do more?
