Sir, the shuttle craft are in pretty bad shape and the escape pods are gone. The Loxian vessels blew them right off. I recommend one of two things. We surrender or we beam to either the Evolution or the Romulan Vessel.

*Vakin stares at the controls again.*
"Hmm... sensor report... right."

Meanwhile, down below, Skon makes his way to his quarters and puts on a dress uniform.

OOC: As of late July/early August, I've been given a captain's role--and my very own Star Trek "live" sim/chat--in another sim group.

Recently, I've been asked by the group's owner to create more complex plots.  This means that--regretfully--I must leave Expansion.  I require a great deal of preparation to create a new plot every week.

So, it's with a heavy heart that I resign as Cmdr./CMO of USS Skytoucher.  I hope my replacement will be a much better RPer than I was.  Live long and prosper!

*Sanchez stares at the Evolution, on the flickering viewscreen.*
"The ship's so quiet out there, but I have the feeling that the Evolution had something to do with it. Perhaps not the ship in particular, but that the enemy of the Na'jigat payed the crew a visit there."
*He turns to Skon and the other bridge officers.*
"When last we had an encounter with the Na'jigat, we were on a visit in Delta Alliance space, and there appeared out of nowhere a species that call themselves Gallifreyans. I don't know exactly how they do it, but they seem to be trained to use telephatic powers to fight the Na'jigat back."

[Randall Sanchez]

"Very well. Dr. Keilah, please look to Vakin there. Everyone, follow me back to the bridge!"
*Everyone follows Sanchez and shortly later, they arrive back on the bridge. Sanchez is stunned when he looks at the viewscreen, and sees what is about to happen...*
"Oh dear gods, we'll never survive this..."

"Ah see, you are unaware, I am not the most experienced of Q's. I have my follies yet to smooth over. I've not perfected my abilities as my parents have. I'm merely 1652 years of age...my mental capabilities, especially those of intercepting humanoid thoughts, is not developed. I could only assume. You may call my flaw in logic an educated guess...Now if you will, answer the question. I wish only to aid you."

"If they knew more, I'm sure they would tell us in do time Cmdr."

"Should we send down shuttles from the Skytoucher? It might be quicker than just using the transporter system."

*Shakes her head and rises from his plush seat. Stepping towards him, she places a hand on his shoulder which she uses to lead him towards his ready room*

"You misunderstand me, Commander. I came here for you. As my parents have sent me here to fix another's mistake...May we speak alone?"

The radiation levels are rising. I have activated a quarintine field. I would like your permission to move to yellow alert and recall a couple of officers to the bridge.

Captain, Im afraid we have no time for small talk. We have reason to believe Starphoenix is the next target of the Na'jigat. We must warn them.
