Black still on the bridge from the conference exit pulled his phaser.

Warpdrive still offline, and we only have half impulse still.

The viewscreen flickers again, and the crew can see the Evolution engaged in battle with the Loxian flagship. Suddenly, an object bursts from the aft of the Evolution and explodes against the Loxian's shields. The Loxian's shields glow bright orange for a moment. The Loxian ship shudders. Skon lowers his eyes from the screen.

The Evolution has ejected her warp core. The situation does not seem to be improving.

A single aft console lights up. It was dim though. Black began to press controls. A warning sound was heard.

"Well, if i do get engines it will have to be impulse. The Antimatter injecters are out for good."

off: It'd be good to get a refit. Any estimate on time to take until we get help from Avalon?

Sir the morale of the crew is holding, though they are mainly relieved that the battle is over and that repairs and wounded are being taken care of. As for the crew that is still up and going, they appear to be exosted and who can blame them after that ordeal. I think our return to Avalon will do much for the morale of the ship and it will also give people time to enjoy being home for a while and to relax from our last mission.

Is there anything that you need me to do at this time? Sir.

*Zayan took a deep breath of relief, and lowered her weapon.*
"What a relief, it is only you people. I thought that Vakin had some more assistants coming to his aid. I am Zayan, I've worked together with Zentox for years. And Vakin here, is sound asleep after I stunned him with a phaser, he was a spy and saboteur all this time!"

*Zayan slowly got back on her feet, constantly aware of the phaser Vakin kept aimed at her.*
"Maybe... your offer doesn't sound that bad, after all. It is better than all dieing on this ship, at any rate. Maybe I can help you, after all..."
*Suddenly, Zayan made a movement faster than the eye could see, and threw the phaser out of Vakin's hand. The phaser bumped into a wall and fell on the floor, and in an instant Zayan jumped onto Vakin.  Vakin struggled to get free again, and tried to push her back. As she fell on the floor herself, she saw the phaser on the floor right next to her. She tried to reach out for it with her hand, but Vakin tried to pull her back and grab it himself. Both hands reach the phaser at the same time, accidentally pushing a button while trying to grab it. A phaser beam flashes through the shuttle, accidentally fire onto the lighting system. The shuttle goes dark. Next, a cry of pain resounds in the dark...*

Dr Keilah had his medical tricorder in his hand and was facing Captain Sanchez. He then whispered...

"Captain...don't we know this man from somewhere. It's like I have seen him before or is it just that all Loxian are look-a-likes?"
