We just had a massive gelpack failure in all of the weapons control systems.  We are attempting a bypass.  ETA aproxiamitly 20 minutes.

*Lt freeman and his teams go to work on rerouting every gelpack on the ship starting with weapons and moving their way to other critial functions.*

Sir, I am not convinced that Galon was the one that infected the packs.
I would like to do a complete scan of all ships systems before taking this ship into combat again.

*Nods to the admiral and all others that look her way with a smile.*

Commander, Reporting that all engineering functions are at station keeping and the ships Multivector assault mode is now operational and ready for testing.

Initating tracking mode, Galon is attempting to leave via Shuttlebay 2. Armed Security Forces are  on their way to intercept.

Chief eningeer, the report is complete, routing to terminal 3 in the engineering department, due to the compelxity of hte report it would take several hours to verbally read it all to you.

Computer status report Red Alert, due to the nature of hte attack.  Computer system is still offline and not responding to human erbal commands. Do you wish me to attempt an override.

Hands the doctor one of the Bio Neural Gelpacks.  
"It seems like there is some sort of problem in the bio-side of the gelpack.  I have scanned the machanical eliment of it and there is nothing wrong with it.

Sir I have a theory of why the ferengi are attacking us first.  We found some sort of infection in a few of the Gelpacks.  At first I though that it was caused by some sort of natural phenominon but now that I think about it it could have been designed to overload all of our weapons systems the moment we went into MVA mode.  Alpha and Gamma Engineering crews removed the effected systems so when we split there was no problem and the Ferengi had to change there tactics.
