U.S.S. Rivendell Mission 1: Shakedown Cruise

Freeman exits another turbolift and goes to the engineering station.  

"Sir all systems are go.   I even added more menu items to the replicators.  I think I might have actually got chicken soup right.  Also we have decreased the amount of time that it takes for mva mode to fully deploy.  It now takes about 15 seconds from start to finish.  Also the new Gelpacks are not infected.  "

[EBS Reporter]

*Meanwhile, the reporters have all surrounded Vorak sitting behind the helm panel, blinding him with the flashes of their cameras to make sure they have each of his moves on photo.*
Reporter 1: "Admiral, how does it feel to fly a ship yourself again?"
Reporter 2: "Admiral, did you accept this offer to impress your new girlfr--your assistant?"
Reporter 3: "May I make another picture? Please, try to smile a little! Ok, then not."
*Flash.*

[Madox]

* Madox pushes a few buttons and activates a level 5 forcefield around Q.  

[Taurik]

"Commander, report to the upper battle bridge, and prepare the ship for MVA mode. Computer, prepare Multi-Vector Assault mode, command authorization Taurik-8-1-Gamma-Echo, and prepare to engage on my mark."

"Confirmed. MVA mode ready."

[William Travis]

"Do so. Attempt to gain full control"

[William Travis]

"Ok Admiral"

"Helm go to one half impulse and prepare to dock"

[William Travis]

Travis hit his comm badge

"Travis to Embries, welcome onboard. meet us in OPs if you want the tour. Or just want to see us. I hope you enjoy the passage from here to DS 20. And good luck with the Excaliber project"

Turns to the Admiral
"Now we can head for OPs. I designed the room myself with Mr. Montell"

*Then the reporter steps before Travis.*
"Commander, if this ship would receive a distress call from a Starfleet vessel under attack by the Ferengi, what will you do?"

[William Travis]

"Good, keep things together down there, these Ferengi are taking on the Rivendell first, i assume because we are in 3 parts"

[Taurik]

=/\= We have detected it also. Continue attacks. =/\=

"Mr. Moris, keep a pursuit course for the lead Ferengi vessel. Tactical, ready a torpedo barrage for that ship."

[Solark Baklavar]

Thank you Captain. Initiating Docking procedures.

I will proceed to send in the coordinates to Avalon Station for our arrival very shortly to occur.

Orpheus,  Please initiate the docking procedures for our arrival upon Avalon station.

Sending message to Avalon Station notifying them of our arrival to the station. I am requesting a repair team to be on stand by for the ship repairs.

[Paris Love]

*Stands silently as the reporters batter the Admiral and Commander with questions. She tolerates it until 'affair' is spoken. She steps forward and pushes the crowd back away from the two men.*

"Admiral Vorak and Commander Travis will be taking no more questions this eve until the Rivendell is launched. Please step back!"

*A female reporter shoots forward from the crowd and attempts to ask more questions, but Love pulls her back by her arm.*

"Admiral, do you consider..."

"Please, no more questions."

*Love looks back and motions for the two gentlemen to exit the room.*

"Ma'am, please stay back with the rest of the crowd. No sir, you may not, please stay there."

*The admiral and commander slip out as she holds the bustling crowd still shouting questions to him as he leaves.*

[Vorak]

*Vorak throws a glance at the reporters.*
"Very well."

[Morgan Freeman]

Understood I was just suggesting that we increase the yield of the device to make it more distructive.  Never mind..

"I will remember it Major, I hope to come to the station again, perhaps a drink in the pub when we next meet?"
