HK47

<At the Heraan landing zone>

"Oh lets just destroy certain parts of the ship.  I know of a bomb that would work.  Its a very entertaining combination of poisons and gases I have devised, it should eat their armor and burn their skin.  Oh the smell of flesh, it wouldnt harm the ship but definately would harm them." HK said with much delight in the images of acid eating away flesh.

HK47

<HK kept firing till his gattling gun ran out of energy then switched to his arm blades again and charged the biggest mobs, the speed at which HK entered combat caught most of the Heraan off guard and before they could react many of the Heraan soldiers were disembowled with quick stabs and slashes of his blades.  This action quickly decimated what Moral they had and forced them to start retreating as their comrades fell to the Blade of the Droid as they ran for their lives>

Aaron Cloud

Cloud giggles again, a bit loopy after one too many hits on the head and body.

Giggles again and shouts in a sing song voice, "What he said," then he glances at Balkazar and his face becomes like a stone.

"Awwwww man, not you again." He sighs and pushes himself, still floating in the zero gravity, out the door.

John Moore

"Sir. Perimeter secure." reported a Staff Sergeant under John. "Hostiles are neutralised." he said, smirking, slowing down the final word.

"Don't get too cocky, Sergeant. Don't forget we still need to make sure that the Omega Molecule is destroyed and get off this planet." John reprimanded. He reached up with his left hand - his rifle still in his right, scope smashed clean off - and wiped blood from a cut above his eye.

"Yessir. Sorry Sir." the Sergeant said, straightening his pose.

John looked around as he heard the Colonel mention the ship. He looked it over, and it looked almost untouched by the battle that had been raged through the night. "Sir!" he suddenly called out, an idea coming into his head.

"The Heraan. There were commanders in the battle, there must be some with some of their cloaking armour. We might be able to salvage some of the units, fit them to some of our marines."

Quinn

Quinn worked silently at his station, glancing up occasionally to watch people enter and exit the Captain's ready room; he felt a bit uneasy not knowing as many people on the ship as most normally would, though it didn't upset him. He didn't mind knowing only a dozen or so people on the ship, after all he was here to do his job, not to socialize.
"Sorry Admiral, thought you died,"

Voyager

Dolan was slightly shocked at the importance of the Omega Directive and was even more surprised at his selection to be on the team to destroy the detected Omega molecule (or molecules).

"Well, are there any methods of destroying Omega without destroying subspace?"

((OOC: Lol, great briefing...very through...Dolan definately grasps the full destructive power of Omega...lol. http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> ))

Balkazar

<Balkazar and his half of the Battalion were seen in the distance as 20 or so Puma's came racing out of the trees and the marines got out and dispersed where they could, Fire teams were divided up and were put into the fortifications that HK47 was so kind as to make earlier.  Then the Pelicans came in with the rest of the marines and gear was being dropped off.  Marines pulled both heavy equipment and light equipment out of the puma's.  Several Marines were assisting the field medics with their gear and helped them into the wreckage of the Lothlorien to set up a medical triage area for the impending battle that will be coming soon.  Then they broke up and started to guard and trap every entrance forcing the Heraan to come only one way.  In a short time the rather deserted crash site was literally turned into a make shift fortress and marines were taking up positions all around making sure the heraan soldiers didnt get threw without being seen or heard>

"Sir, the area is secured the best we can make it." a private said coming up and reported to the Col.

"Good, thank you.  Get back to your post and stay strong and trust the marines next to you and you will get back in one peace." was all Balkazar said as he left and went looking for Nate and soon found him.  "Report." Balkazar ordered.

Simon Rajnus

"Alright, Spill it, why are you glancing over your shoulder." Simon asked as the young private was redressing his wounds.

Raszagal

Raszagal noticed the disturbance caused by the blood-soaked droid, and took her opportunity. She let fly a burst of pure psionic energy, something she had been unable to do in far too long. The energy pulse hit one of the Heraan and slammed him to the wall, the bruised body falling to the ground to reveal purple blood on the wall.

The Gallifreyan then jumped toward another of the Heraan, and swiped at him with the energy blade, but the alien caught her arm and resisted. They struggled for a moment, before Raszagal tripped the Heraan with her foot and brought the tip of the blade across the alien's chest, causing a neat but fatal gash in his chest cavity, that glowed with a cauterized edge from the heat of the weapon.

The command chamber now empty, Raszagal deactivated her blade and stepped up to the droid. "You need to control your bloodlust, or you're bound to get us killed! The next time you burst in like that, I'll have you shipped back to Traquel Alpha in parts!"

Voyager

Dolan had a sudden inspiration as he waited for Balkazar's reply.  He took out a PADD he had on him and began calculating if his phaser bank could be placed in orbit around the Heraani ship, assuming the marines would be able to gain control and it would be able to get off the ground.  He believed that, due to the Heraani vessel's inoperable weapons, it might be possible to substitute them by having one of his prototypes placed in orbit around it.

~Engines could be added later if needed,~ Dolan thought to himself, ~If this works, the Federation would have a blueprint for orbital defenses, and if engines were added, automated defense "droids", for a lack of a better word.~

When his calculations were finished, Dolan realized the ship was too small, and that the prototype would have to be attached to the outer hull of the ship to be of any use as a defensive measure.  However, he kept the idea in mind, as it might allow for orbital defenses for Avalon Station, if they ever got back.

Quinn

<Crash site>

((Holy crap, I forgot about the admiral! Lol I love how everyone's a bit messed up from the crash))

Quinn mumbled something as he was about to walk over to help with the wiring when he got started by the Admiral, he forgot he was still on the ship. "Sorry Admiral, thought you died," He said as he limped the rest of the way to the wall.

He bent over and started working on what ever he could pick from his brain, "Da,"
"Sorry Admiral, thought you died,"

Simon Rajnus

<Ready room>

"Tell me about your parents." Simon asked probingly.  "From your file, your father was a diplomat.  Your mother theirs nothing on.  Then I want you to tell me what happened to you when you dropped off the radar almost 2 yrs ago." Simon asked continued to probe by watching her body language.

Voyager

Dolan made sure everything in engineering was in order before heading to the bridge.  Upon arrival, he was surprised to see that the consoles were no longer locked, considering no one was up there to help unlock them.

"So what's going on, Admiral?"

((OOC:  Couldn't we all go into the briefing room, so we all aren't standing?  And yes Simon, that is what Learning Curve was about.  You could look it up on Memory Alpha.  Just google Memory Alpha and you should get the site.))

Raszagal

(OFF: I know this is a ways back, but "split chins"? The Heraan only have one chin, and no mouth. Think of the Protoss from StarCraft, that's the look of a Heraani soldier. Also, remember that the proper name for the enemy race is "Heraan", not "Heraani". Only add the "i" when you are describing a specific object of or belonging to the Heraan, such as "the Heraani carrier". Otherwise, the race is called "the Heraan". It's like saying "welcome to the United States of American". Anyway, my rant's done.)

Raszagal stopped HK before he was about to take off on another scouting trek. "Let's take a Puma," she said. "We can move around much faster, and will be able to defend ourselves if the Heraan manage to spot us from overhead."

Mike Powell

*...Powell salutes the good colonel and Lt. moore...*

"Its good to see you men are still alive. *He smirks* Were is the remainder of the command staff? I would like to meet them in the conferance room ASAP."
