William Richerd

"Yes Sir." Major Richerd said with a bark like tone of the affirmative. "Private... get the men to the lockers and get their armor on..."

The Private only hesitated for half a second before running out at a jog to the Barracks and to follow through the order.

He then himself went to the lockers and suited up in his own armor... in three minutes the Cargo Bay now had twenty more Marines then it had before.

"Okay, you ten with the Col. The Rest of you... you are with the General... now move and get ready for planet fall when it comes."

He then moved to talk to Balkazar. "So... where am I going to be?" Guard duty or Retrieval?" He had ten of his own trained men waiting at one of the transporter rooms waiting for the beam out.

"Also... how are we going to beam out if we need shields..." The ship shook but Richerd keep his ground "Since we would be dropping shields to beam out."

((Alright, post edited...just one question, how are we expected to survive without something to get rid of the Heraani?  Right now we're pretty much assured to die.  Or is some form of a deus ex machina going to save us all?))

Dolan hoped everyone on this mission would survive, especially with so many Heraani fighters after them.  The marines were only about half an hour from the research complex where Dolan believed the Omega was.  However, the chance of them getting there without major casualties were rapidly decreasing as a dozen more fighters started firing on the marines.  He was unsure how they were going to destroy the Omega at this point since the Lothlorien was now down with the Captain and Admiral out of contact and the General busy trying to keep all of his marines alive.  As the marines closed in on the research facility, Dolan noticed that it seemed to resemble a power plant and wondered if the Omega was being created as a power source for something.

Quinn

"Yes sir," Quinn replied, even though personally he felt they already destroyed the ship. He eyed the emergency medical aid kit that the Admiral used to treat him earlier, some of the contents were lost during the crash but there were still some left inside.
"Sorry Admiral, thought you died,"

Simon Rajnus

"Very interesting, install it once the trial run is threw with." Simon told Dolan as he turned his attention to the Helm.

"ETA?" Simon asked.

"2 hours, Captain." the helmsmen called back.

"Very good." Simon said.

Quinn

The ship shook once more, Quinn gripped even tighter on to his console while gritting his teeth at the same time. He must've accidentally bumped his arm into something because at that very moment it hurt like hell. He glared down at his console, it flickered a few times.

"Captain, I highly suggest we ge-" Quinn let out a shout as his console exploded suddenly. He fell to his knees, gripping his burnt arm in pain before collapsing on the ground.

((OOC: Where has everyone gone?  And a note to anyone reading this:  Dolan is in a coma like state and is revisiting artificially surpressed memories.))

Dolan noticed his past self had woken up when the images came back again.  He suddenly realized he was in a UEF outpost on Scorpii 18 and that he was in a briefing room.  He was surprised at this revelation and had no clue where this information came from and considered that it really might be his surpressed memories.  Words began to filter through.

"The Aeon have launched an offensive on the planet.  They have esablished footholds on the southern subcontinent and the island chain near there."  A screen appeared in mid-air in the center of the table with a map indicating where the Aeon were.  "We have requested reinforcements, but it seems the UEF can't spare any people, though they managed to send a company of the Direwolf Regiment, with Colonel Clarke coming personally to help defeat the Aeon.  Major Dolan is head of this company, which is called..."

Dolan heard his voice, though it was much rougher, replied, "We're the Wolverine Company, Brigader Pershing."

The man that was speaking cleared his throat and said with unveiled disdain, "The Wolverine Company then.  Now, to organize the defensive perimeter, we plan on deploying Major Dolan's company along with one of the home platoons a couple dozen kilometers above the Aeon forces on the subcontinent to stop them from gaining more ground.  Colonel Clarke will direct this group from a base nearby.  The other ACUs will-"

Colonel Clarke, a fierce looking woman, spoke up.  "I don't see why I can't be deployed on the field beside Major Dolan.  He and his company may be Symbionts, but their loyaty programming is fully engaged.  In fact, most of the company, including the major, have upgraded forms of the loyalty programming.  Besides, the closest known Cybran base is several jumps away.  They won't have the time to defect even if they could and they wanted to."

The brigader's face remained emotionless as he answered, "I disagree.  As you well know, Dolan's company is highly experimental-"

"And highly successful," injected Clarke calmly.

"-while that might be, I believe they still might be a threat.  Who knows what kind of loopholes they could have found in their programming?  I don't care if they found a way to disguise the Symbiont's implants.  In anything, that makes them exponentially more dangerous.  In any case, you are overruled Colonel.  Unless one the ACUs on the planet is freed up, you will be directing the defense of the southern subcontinent."  With that, the arguement was ended.

The briefing continued, though Dolan noticed a couple of people in Starfleet uniforms on the edge of his vision.  He thought he was seeing things until he saw one of them press a couple of buttons and leave through a holodeck door.  Another man entered to take the place of the one who left.

"So would it be possible to disengage the charges or deactivate them so that they don't blow up?  Or should we try and wipe the program from the computer now?" asked Dolan.  The feeling of weightlessness was starting to make him feel queasy and it was getting difficult to think straight as he kept rolling over in mid-air.

((Luke, their were around 100 wounded or dead, now count it right.  MAssive crash = Wounded, HUGE!! battle with a superior race = Wound and dead or about to be.  Get it right.))

=^= "All personel get on the ship and bunker down.  We are getting off this rock." =^= Simon said over his commbadge.

<Heading to the command chamber, Rajnus found Raszagal at what apeared to be some sort of console, so he walked up to her>

"Report." Rajnus asked.

Raszagal

Raszagal summoned her power, and made a psionic leap from the ledge with her phaser rifle in hand. She fired a volly of blasts at one soldier, cutting down his body shields and riddling him with phased energy bolts. Dropping the rifle before even landing, she drew her khala and ignited it, and proceeded to deflect several plasma bolts before cleanly slicing a pair of soldiers through the torso.

OOC: Where is everyone?

IC:
The marine vehicles arrived rather quickly at the Lothlorien crash site, with surprisingly no Heraan harassment.  Dolan jumped out of the Puma he was in to assess the situation and shielded his eyes from the noon sun to check the Lothlorien's condition.  He was dismayed to see the derelict state the Lothlorien was in.  Large chucks of debris could be seen several kilometers out and the familiar glow of the warp nacelles had dimmed down drastically.  The ship's designation was largely blacked out by fire and phaser scorches, along with much of the outer hull.  The sight briefly brought back memories of a similar incident, but Dolan quickly suppressed those thoughts.  He hoped the ship's memory core could be salvaged and was grateful he always made several copies of his prototype phaser bank design - he had a couple with him now- though it seemed the prototype that he was making in Cargo Bay 1 would most likely be damaged beyond repair.

Due to General Powell's critical condition, Dolan assumed temporary command, due to his knowledge of the situation, thanks to his tricorder.  From his tricorder readings, the Heraan had largely retreated into their ship.  He boarded the Puma and had the vehicles close in by the Lothlorien.  Upon arrival, he had the critically wounded, including General Powell, brought to the makeshift medic tent near the Lothlorien.  After he made sure everyone was taken care of, he began looking for Colonel Balkazar, since he assumed Rajnus and Admiral Yates would be with him.  After searching for about half an hour, he found the colonel on a ridge not too far up the mountain the Lothlorien rested next to, overlooking the battlefield while talking to a woman that Dolan did not recognize, but felt he should respect and perhaps even fear.  There was also a somewhat humanoid machine that seemed intimidating, especially with its blood-splattered chassis and extended blades.

Dolan cautiously approached the group and announced, "General Powell's and my team has returned.  Our mission was successful..."  Dolan hesitanted, before adding, "...with a little outside help.  We lost 5 men, another 3 are currently critically wounded, 4 if you include General Powell.  The other 2 aren't at their best, but they can manage with some medical attention.  So what are our plans to get off this planet?  And where's the Captain and the Admiral?"

<Simon got up and breathed much easier now since life support is back online.  He quickly found Richards in another part of the ship working on a Heraan console>

"Richards." he said quietly to make sure no one else heard him.  "What have you found out about this ship?" he asked quietly.

Raszagal

Raszagal took a look at the chief's translator program, and after a few minutes of perusing the syntax guide and conjunction tables, she tapped her commbadge.

"Ensign Dar'Nas, I have to commend you on your translation matrix. However, there are a couple of discrepancies in some of the verb conjugation and syntax tables. Let me see if I can't tweak it a little. It's a complex language, makes Federation Standard look like two-plus-two."
