Mission 5 "The Great Blue Yonder"

[Simon Rajnus]

<Simon watched as the medics dragged the wounded back into the ship to get them tended too, then looked at Richard>

"Why dont we just keep firing on them, right now its a live or die situation." Simon told Brown as he fired on the Heraan.

[Balkazar]

<Hearing the red alert klaxons, Balkazar became alert now more then ever>

"Cmon Nate, lets get to the bridge and find out what the hell is going on." Balkazar said to Nate.  As he passed by Moore, he called out.  "Moore, have all troops suit up." Balkazar said as he passed by the armory, he quickly got geared up before he and Nate went to the bridge.

"Whats going on?" Balkazar asked in a rough voice.

[Andrew Yates]

*...Yates stubbornly moved to the left inthe XO chair and looked to simon...*

"Technically, its not your chaire Simon. If it were anyone else I would have simply ignored you. Now don't let this command get to your head. My orders are to still be carried out as issued."

*...Yates reminded the good captain...*

"Lieutenant, do as Ensign Richards suggest. We need to get as many of those fighters off us before they start formations and then waves of attacks. The sheilds will njot hold under such pressure. Ensign Quinn, fire at will. Dolan anything on a nebula in the sector?"

[Quinn]

A tone rang out from Quinn's console,

"I'm picking up a large unknown object in our proximity, approximately twenty thousand kilometers port side. Sensors can't get a clear picture of what it is.." He reported, reading off the sensor readings.

He ran his fingers quickly across the panal, "Uh, possibility a large vessel,"

[Aaron Cloud]

Suddenly, the turrets stop. Cloud sighs with relief, sweat dripping off his brow. He walks over and kicks one of the turrets on the ground muttering, "Kriffing ship."

He turns, "All of you start working on the wounded, I'm going to report to Colonel Balkazar."

Walks out to find him.

[HK47]

<Hearing the communications from the Admiral.  HK motioned for the Marines to start running for the ship.  While they ran for cover, HK held back the Heraan as long as he could then got out of their with lightening speed and reached Balkazar's side in a rather short time>

[Raszagal]

Raszagal ducked as a green blade passed right over her head. She countered with a psionic pulse, which knocked the commander off-balance. She took this moment to jump up to a support beam about five meters up. The commander looked up and laughed. "You think that will stop me?"

The commander jumped up after her. This was the opportunity. Raszagal jumped off of the other end, and looked up to see the commander in mid-air, more than a little confused. Raszagal then used the piece of Khaydarin from her khala to augment her power, and let loose a psionic blast as powerful as she could muster. Because the commander had no footing on the ground, he was launched a few dozen or so meters off of the ground.

"No," she said telepathically, as she watched the commander continue to fly upwards helplessly. "I'll leave it to the ground to stop you. It won't be nearly as subtle as I."

A few seconds after Raszagal stepped back into the remains of the Lothlorien, a golden-clad body hit the ground with a sickening crunch.

<Briefing room>

"From what the computer said it was around 4 light years away.  Our previous mission will be put on hold till the Omega partical has been dealt with." Simon said addressing Richards.

[Voyager]

Dolan was shocked at the lengths the Colonel was willing to go to take control of the Heraani ship.

"Colonel, I highly doubt even Section 31 of Article 14 of the Starfleet Charter allows for the use of flesh-eating pathogens.  And nanites would most likely take too long to develop and deploy, not to mention test."

[Oliver Davis]

Padd in hand, Davis pushed the junk aside
and concentrated on his padd.This was the first time in nearly a week
he'd had a chance to work on the masking system. After only a minute or
two of studying his calculations, he hit the same wall he'd been stuck
behind for weeks. With an exasperated sigh. "Captain I think I can have system up in three days are more."

[Balkazar]

"So half to support the federation and their crashed ship and the other half to retrieve the partical or particals?.  If the Heerani do land troops they wont know where to find the partical which gives you an edge, but leaving the starfleet to fend for themselves isnt right either.  They dont know how to fight the Heerani like we do." Balkazar said to the General.

"Richerds, you take 20 men and suit up in the armor we brought along.  We will need the use of them.  Then they will break up, 10 with me and 10 with the general to ensure his safety." Balkazar ordered.

[William Richerd]

As Captain Simon said those words Richerd entered the Bridge. "I heard you from here... but thank you for informing us anyway." He smiled and looked at the screen.

"You want boarding parties ready? Or should we prepare our Pelicans?" He was asking not sure of how it would play out now, but he was looking forward to stopping them from getting their hands of Omega.

[William Richerd]

Richerd was startled by the sudden mental message but he hid the shock on the outer face. "Aye Sir." He just hopped that they wouldn't be having to use body bags, but as he thought about that...

He heard the report from the Captain. HE looked at the Col. "I am ready at your command."

[Simon Rajnus]

"Yes, I can understand but from what the public file says he was a good diplomat, however, were you aware of his unofficial acts?" Simon asked Aariya point blank.  "It seems your father was making deals in the way of weapons and selling them to the Romulans.  He also aquired information about the same romulans he was selling weapons too and it seems that they used those weapons to destroy the population of Andromeda Prime.  Unofficially, he has more blood on his hands then you would think.  As for your mother, she died because of your fathers blood lust by using his diplomatic skills to help the enemies of the federation.  Were you aware of that!.  I wonder if your not just like your father!." Simon said glaring at Aariya.

<Simon looked up from his dazed position laying on the ground knowing that Starfleet will never let him near another ship after this, but saw a Heraan ship fly nearby and settle down, now his fears were becoming reality, knowing that this was now the end>
