Mission 5 "The Great Blue Yonder"

[Voyager]

Dolan's team finished building and programming the prototype phaser bank far ahead of his projected time.  They double checked everything, especially the sensors and enemies file.  Dolan then contacted Balkazar using one of the nearby marine's combadge, since he was unsure if his own would be able to contact the colonel.

"Colonel, if it is still needed, we are ready to deploy the phaser bank."

[Simon Rajnus]

<Simon replicated hot apple cider and Rootbeer, then took Aariya her drink, then Simon sat down in her chair>

"Tell me, what do you know about me?" Simon asked questioningly.  "Dont hold back.  Many people I ask the question hold back and so I hold them back because they dont have the balls to tell me what they know about me to my face.  So im curious if you do." Simon asked as he took a drink of his rootbeer waiting for a response.

[Simon Rajnus]

((3 on 1 ?, I dont have that many commanding officer types here.  Balkazar simply walked away.  Simon is asking for a report.  I dont use 2 characters to gang up on anyone.))

"Its good you are into regulations, but quoting regulations around the marines after they fought so valiantly today is unwise.  Perhaps asking him later will suffice but for now leave him be and allow him to do his job.  Understood?.  Now thats taken care of, whats the status of the Marine and Starfleet officers?" Rajnus asked.

[Balkazar]

<In the marines officer lounge>

"Well, I see you gotten more shiny, Keller.  So tell me what they did to you? last I knew you were blown up and no medical treatment could be done except to put you into stasis.  So fill me in?" Balkazar asked Keller hugging him which shocked alot of the recruits in the room, but not the veterans.

[Balkazar]

<Balkazar just shook his head as he made sure he had his gear stowed in one of the Puma's and made sure his assault rifle was their as well>

"By the looks of it he wants to strangle you." Balkazar said nodding in his direction and did a half smile.

[Quinn]

"Bastard's smart," Quinn mumbled quietly to himself. He wondered how long it would take for the marines to get to the crash site, because as much as he'd like to blow some things up he'd rather be back on Avalon.

[Balkazar]

"Hmmm." Was all Balkazar did as he tried to think and digest what Raszagal had told him.  "Too bad we cant gas the ship.  Is their any pathegon that would knock them out or at the very least disrupt their psionic abilities.  Anything that would give us an edge that would weaken them somehow ? or all out kill them which would be better?" Balkazar had voiced aloud knowing full well that Starfleet usually dont allow viral weapons to be used.  But he knew at the same time that this was a different situation and the rules need to be bent.

[Aaron Cloud]

OFF: I'm too confrontational towards everyone it seems, sighs.

IC:

After finding the ships "medical bay," Cloud begins to clear everything off and sterilize it all.

A few minutes pass, as a relatively easy job is finished.

"This species is relatively...clean, too clean." He thought to himself.

=A= Lt. Commander Cloud to Colonel Balkazar. I've established a makeshift medical ward two decks down. Please route all injured here immediately, the grieveously injured first. Cloud out. =A=

He gets to work reading the beds and his supplies.

[Simon Rajnus]

"Now tell me why you chose to become an intelligence agent and thinking you could slip onto my ship without my knowledge? Your file says your good at sneaking into places your not supposed to be in but obviously you failed this time because I was aware of your true intention's onboard this vessel." Simon said with a half smile.

[Voyager]

Dolan was surprised at the droid's apparent enjoyment of harm.  He briefly wondered who programmed its AI before continuing on with his work.

"We have relatively minor damage throughout the ship.  It won't be long before we can get back on course to Avalon Station."

[Voyager]

"Okay..." says Dolan, somewhat glad that Balkazar was not his direct superior and also a little weirded out by Cloud's behavior.  It seemed he might be drugged on something, but Dolan passed it off as Cloud's normal behavior, since he just met the now unconscious man.

"Which would you prefer to do Raszagal?" asked Dolan.

[Voyager]

(OOC: What do you want me to do?  I'm stuck in underground trying to destroy the Omega particles...and have no clue what is going to happen after that.)

<Research Facility, Underground>

Dolan tried to work quickly, since the Heraan were showing signs of making slow progress in opening the blast doors, but knew he could not make any mistakes in the procedure or else the molecules would detonate.  The result was a feverish input of commands and contant double checking.  After about half an hour, he had managed to destroy most of the particles.

[Clyde Eastwood]

Eastwood sat up in bed

"Keller he's here somewhere i can feel him"

=/\=Eastwood to Balkazar, Sir i can feel the old bugger around somewhere, is there any reports that Major Keller had boarded =/\=

(OOC Eastwood never knew the fate of Keller so hence why he thinks he is still alive)

[Simon Rajnus]

<Waking up slightly he felt their was a huge gash on his head and blood was pouring out of it at a steady rate.  He ripped off a peice of his uniform and pressed it on his head to stop the bleeding>

"Alright, are sensors up or are those shot too?" Simon asked half conscious.  "I think we are going to be here for awhile so we best take a stock of what ISNT! destroyed or broken." Simon added.

[Raszagal]

"The Heraan don't draw oxygen, nor do they have mouths or conventional respiratory systems. An airborne pathogen would have no effect."
