Balkazar

"I need action NOW!, not a week or a month away.  Several of men want to storm the ship now while others dont.  The majority of my battalion is getting restless, they want to go home back to Dantor.  We need that ship intact or intact to the point it can be salvaged!.  Your plan has alot of what 'If's in it and I dont like it.  Why dont you figure something out thats more concrete not based on what you THINK! you know and try to come up with something you DO! know that is concrete.  GOT IT!" Balkazar said starting to sound a lil impatient.

Simon Rajnus

((I forgot the name too LOL, but wasnt 'learning curve' where they picked like 4 maquis out of the bunch of the crew and Tuvok had the priviledge to train them? to improve their attitude but their was that one guy who defended the bunch ?))

"I see, Admiral.  Well, its time to alert the staff." Simon said as he pushed a button on his console.

=^= "All department heads report to the bridge ASAP." =^= Simon ordered.

Balkazar

((Dolan, Balkazar usually doesnt show any emotions on his face while on duty, and if he does then its when you lil whelps arent around http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>))

"Very good, Lt. Col.  Salvage what you can from the Lothlorien then destroy it.  Vaptorization of the ship is preffered.  Go, carry out my orders." Balkazar told the Lt. Col, as he left to do the Col. bidding.

"As for you Dolan, Dont believe in every rumor you hear." Balkazar said as he assisted in bringing in the wounded and hopefully to the Medical bay if this ship actually had one.

Dolan finished repairs in the section of the ship he was in and was heading back to engineering when he noticed a storage room on the ship no one had entered yet.  Deciding to take inventory, he went inside.  He saw a number of spare parts but also saw some strange items, none of which were recognizable to Dolan, except for a couple that were familiar to Dolan.  He continued to take inventory, making very detailed descriptions of the things he couldn't identify.

Dolan decided to try and figure out how to disable the security protocols without taking out the rest of the computer and the ship.  However, he first created a subroutine to be added to the translation matrix to make it harder to detect and to circumvent any security protocols that might arise.  He also added another subroutine that would deactivate or dismantle any security protocols that could not be avoided.

Deciding that was the best he could do for the translation program, he moved on to disabling the security protocols directly.  He decided to base his program on one he had encountered in his earlier years, to save precious time.  He added more aggressive subroutines to help destroy tough security measures and a subroutine to neutralize the ones that couldn't be destroyed until they could be manually.

Dolan found programming in zero-gravity surprisingly mind-focusing.  Of course, the slowly depleting levels of oxygen weren't a great bonus to that.  The lack of energy flowing anywhere thoughout the ship was also disconcerting to Dolan, who was used to the barely noticable hum of the plasma conduits running.  As he finished, he briefly wondered why the Heraan would have a security program that would power down the entire ship before activating the self-destruct.

"Ensign Dar'Nas," called out Dolan, "I have a few additions I'd like to add to your translation matrix.  Also, I'd like to run a program that would get rid of the tougher programs first, just in case there are some backup security measure that speed up the self-destruct or something similar lurking back there."

Once that was ready, he patiently floated in mid-air, waiting for Raszagal to finish deactivating the self-destruct, which ever way she preferred, since Dolan didn't have much experience deactivating explosive charges, so that he and Dar'Nas could run the translation matrix and the anti-security program through the ship's computer core.

Balkazar

=^= "All teams, Open fire.  Take the advantage of their disorientation.  Hold your ground and fire on all Heraan soldiers within weapons range." =^= Balkazar ordered over the Comm badge, as their was back ground noise of Phasers being shot all at once on Balkazar's end.

Mike Powell

*Powell saluted the Eastwood and Richerds.*

"Its very good to see you all again. I am quit sure the maggots will develope quit nicely with such a outstanding staff. Also I would like you all to know that before we depart I will be welcoming back one of our greatest vetrens of the 17th Battalion we almost lost in battle."

*He turns to HK*

"You again?! I thought by now you would have rusted over and have been scrapped off for something actually useful... perhaps a hypospry dispencer."

*Powell smirks*

"Oh and lucky for you. Your Old friend Comm One will also be joining us in this mission."

Simon Rajnus

"You should know that your father did make 1 request of me and Admiral Yates when he found out you were going to be recruited.  Should anything happen to him, we were to watch out for you.  I take my duty in that regard an honor." Simon told Aariya before she left.

"Very good, Now, would you please send Thomas Richards in.  Remember, your my eyes and ears, I dont like false information.  I want you to keep an eye on the crew and the starfleet and marine personel.  That is all." Simon said releasing privacy mode on his office.

*...Yates fell to the ground as a bulk head collapsed and a consul exploded. He saw the yound Ensign Quinn fall to the ground after a sparkling explosion from his consul. He gets up and looks to Dolan...*

"Lieutenant, what is the status of our sheilds?!"

*..He grabs an emergancy MED Kit off the wall and runs to Quinn and Crouchs down. He he spreys the burns with a sort of a coolant to try and prevent any more damage...*

"Alright, you all listen up right now.  If we are to get out of this alive you all should drop whatever personal problems you may have and get your jobs done!.  HK is a sentient being wether you like it or not.  Hes also part of this team so if their is anyone shutting anyone down I WILL DO IT!!! and not before or else!.  Do I make myself clear!.  HK is theirs going to be ANY! disembowling it will be on MY! orders, is that clear!" Balkazar said as he looked around the room glaring at everyone, and glared at HK as he left.

Dolan continued his scans and was confused.

"Well, General, according to my scans, the containment fields are under the facility...but there appears to be no way to get there."

Simon Rajnus

<Simon was in the back of the ship firing his phaser but a stray plasma bolt shot threw the debris wall and his Simon straight in the shoulder dropping him instantly.  He was then screaming in pain while trying to keep his composure despite the pain he was feeling>

HK47

"I would say the same thing about how you smell meatbag but I have to put up with it.  My weapons do need to be upgraded I suppose.  But then again I could have just blasted them with my plasma weapons but where would be the blood and gore in that?" HK said with much sarcastic amusement.

Voyager

"Well, I have plans to create a secondary shield for the ship in case the main one fails, but since that seems a little far away, I would think that a small shield generator could be integrated into the phaser bank, since they are so much more compact.  The shield matrix would probably only be activated if the ship's shields were disabled, to maintain the highest phaser bank output possible.  In addition, the phaser bank can be disconnected from the main control, with authorization from several of the senior staff, since it has a small computer to maintain the sensors and to help acquire the target faster.  It would by default be connected to the ship's computer, but if the ship was under attack by multiple targets in multiple directions, instead of the multi-vector assault mode the Prometheus class has, the ship's phasers would be able to fire on the targets simultaneously if needed.  However, the only disadvantage - though it can be an advantage - to the disconnection is that reconnecting the phaser bank to the main computer is only possible from the phaser bank itself.  This could be made into a time-intensive process, to prevent the enemy from seizing control of the ship's weapons before their own ship is destroyed, as the phasers would continue to fire.  Reprogramming the phaser's computer might also be made into a time-intensive process, to give the crew enough time to stop whoever is trying to sabotage the ship from succeeding."

(OOC: To Admiral Yates: I'll address my promotion in a little bit, I just want to get this self-sufficent phaser bank discussion finished up.  For now, I've changed my avatar, so I won't have to do it in the minutes right before I have to jump on my bus to school.  Then again, you could make your "mistake" again...)
