Mission 4: "When Science Turns to Chaos"

"So does that mean this meatbag is yet another Lt I have to put up with?" HK asked.  "According to Marine rank systems that would put this Meatbag here as 2nd Lt. is this correct?" HK asked.

[Balkazar]

<Science Station>

"Alright, lets move out.  Corporal, you stay here and secure the area, we will work towards the science stations where this rift generator is believed to be." Balkazar said as he headed out followed by the marines.

"Moore, Eastwood, Lobo.  Converge on me and keep your eyes out." Balkazar quietly said into the comm unit.

"Keep it down." Balkazar said.

<At that moment, several panels in front of them exploded then a swarm demonic creatures came pouring out>

"WHAT THE HELL!." he screamed, as he quickly ordered a fire team upfront.  Then all hell broke loose as the swarm charged and the marines opened fire using their phasers are wide dispersal.  Then a flying eyeball came out and started to shoot at the marines with hellish fire.  The marines quickly took cover as they continued to fire.

[Voyager]

Dolan went to the bridge, a little tired from the course work he had been doing.  He felt that he would soon revert back to his Academy hours - an pitiful 6 hours of sleep, few recreational activities and no time to pursue his interests.

"Ensign Dolan, reporting for duty," Dolan managed to get out, stifling a yawn.  He wondered what they were doing now.  They had only recently arrived back at the station and Dolan had been planning to continue his studies over some coffee in his quarters at the station.

[Balkazar]

<John was walking by when Balkazar threw him a box>

"John, Congratulations your promoted to 2nd Lt. of the Marine Field Medic Corp." Balkazar said.

[Raszagal]

"Don't expect any cover-fire with that attitude. If there's one thing I've learned about humans, it's that they function most efficiently when respected by their peers. No one wants to risk their life for the company braggard. I could rattle off about my 174-year-long track record of battles against the Na'jigat, but I don't because it doesn't inspire cooperation, it inspires resentment. So, I'll give you the respect you give me until you wear the bars."

She turned to the colonel. "I'm sorry, sir, but that's just how I work," she said. "I would imagine you, of all people, can understand that."

Eastwood looked at Commander Wallace

"Hello to you too Commander and thank you for letting us use you ship"

<Crawling threw the jefferies tubes, he soon came upon a vent that overlooked the monsterous creatures attacking a group of marines.  He though why would they send marines here, as he grabbed at his side trying to keep the pain of the stomache injury to himself.  But he knew he had to get help too, then he opened up the vent and came tumbling down landing near Lobo>

"We have arrived at the science station, but they don't respond to our hails..I'm sending the Marines over to the station"

After spending some timein the sickbay I get the all clear and make myway to the bridge.
'Mr Johnson How did things go up here. Attacked by the Romulans I hear?"

Suddenly, from the other side of the rift came a transmission.

=/\= U.S.S Lothlorien, this is Lt. Commander Dolan of the New Terran Empire, the U.S.S. Iroquois is held up in Avalon Station, which is preparing for an attack by rebel forces.  They will try to reach you as soon as possible. =/\=

[Balkazar]

"Yes it does look good on your, John.  This is your fellow field medic, 2nd Lt Cameron.  You both will share the same responsibilities as they come up.  When in the field you patch up the wounded, then when your back here you get rest." Balkazar said looking over to Cameron.

"Cameron, I suppose you have clearance to Operator the Marine Assault Rifle? or did you skip that coarse?" Balkazar asked.

[Vonter Nek Gente]

<sickbay>

*Looks at the Corporal very seriously*

"Look Corporal, I have seen many fight's in my time and lost many good men. I care very much about every person alive whether they are starfleet officers or marines. Sorry you didn't sense the sarcastic tone in my voice, i guess i haven't perfected it yet. I never meant any disrespect, this is going to be a tough mission for all involved and i assure you, i will be right there with you on this one."

"A slight smile returns to Vonters face*

"Now, do you need a hand with anything? i am at your disposal."
