Mission 4: "When Science Turns to Chaos"

[Weasly Cook]

A Transmission came over the communication station and a Voice was heard over it.

=A= This is Commander Cook of the Iroquois, we read you loud and clear, however, we have ten ships between us and the rift, please standby, we have some plans but I do not know if the ships know on how to break codes. I await your next transmission. =A=

The channel was not closed though, the speaker was waiting for a response.

[Simon Rajnus]

<After a few minutes Simon got the power transfer link up and going, then helped Dolan plug in the Rift Generator to the Delfector array>

"Alright, Dolan.  Everything here checks out.  Lets hope this works, why dont you tell the Captain we are ready."

[Balkazar]

<Marine Quarters>

"I see where your Council's conerns are.  She has done great harm bye aiding the Heraani and I can see why they dont wish her into the order again.  So I must ask, why did you consider my marines for such a task?.  Is it a test to see if we can show compassion even to our enemy?.  Also, shes still a risk to my men.  How do I know she wont turn again if we get sent to fight the Heraan soldiers again?"

[Clyde Eastwood]

"You have the ball to go against me a Marine, you take me down machine and you will be in a world of #### i have under my command 200+ marines, now get out of lobo's quarters while i check him over, and then and only then will i call you back in understood MACHINE"

[Lobo_Negro]

*Lobo looked at the Colonel and his two new team members.*

"Aye Sir, these two will do nicely for now.  I still dont know everyone on board yet so anyone you would suggest for ST-1 I would appreciate.  Dont know if LtCol. Eastwood is interested or not, he's gettin a bit old and soft in the head. ((LOL))  If he is, I could use him on this mission, but Id like him to be the head of ST-2 and he can choose who he wants.  As for the rest I would suggest we put out an All Call to the Station and to the rest of the ship, see who's interested.  Sir."

[Clyde Eastwood]

Eastwood casually walked towards where he had to go and stopped right in front of Balkazar a couple of minutes later.

"Lt Col Eastwood reporting now what is going on and why is there still little privates hanging around and not roaming"

[Raszagal]

Raszagal decided that now was as good a time as any, and gave a customary marine salute. "Sir, yes, sir."

[Balkazar]

"That one, im not sure on just yet.  I usually ignore that 'Meatbag' part." Balkazar told Raszagal.

[Balkazar]

"Why does everyone think we are going to blow stuff up when boarding a station and what not.  We arent that stupid." Balkazar told East commenting about Bodes comm.

=^= "Captain, we are aware its a Starfleet station and we are also aware of when and what type of grenades to bring.  We have boarded other stations in the past, but we boarded by making our own entrance way." =^= Balkazar said with a hint of amusement.

"Alright, Ladies.  Lets get going, and make sure you brought back up gear if needed.  Cant be to over prepared." Balkazar yelled out in hopes all of his men heard.

=^= "Moore, bring that lumbering officer to transporter room 1." =^= Balkazar told Moore over the comm badge.

<Balkazar then headed for the turbo lift and watched as his marines filed in 5 at a time till everyone was heading to the transporter room.  As they walked they went double file and transported over to the station>

<Over on the Science station, emergency power was on, but for the most part it was dark, the air was breathable, and no one was in sight aside from the bodies littering the transporter room and the immediate area outside the transporter room>

"John, Find out whats going on.  This would be a very good reason why we didnt get a response back from the hail.  Eastwood, secure this deck.  Lobo, go with him and remember the rules of engagement.  Do not fire unless provoked." Balkazar ordered.

[Balkazar]

"Great, big uglies trying to make first contact by eating us.  That doesnt fly with us." Balkazar told Dolan.

"Moore take a fire team and secure this area.  Lobo, take another fire team and secure the other way." Balkazar ordered.

"Dolan, you need to stop asking for suggestions all the time.  Their may come a time when YOU! have to make the tough choices yourself, when you have NO contact with a superior officer.  So show some back bone." Balkazar told Dolan.

=^= Captain, I need the security codes for whoever was in charge of this station in order for me to find out WHAT! exactly happened here.  I dont have that high of a security clearence.  But you do." =^= Balkazar called the Lothlorien.

"Eastwood, Take 20 men and sweep this deck.  Then place fire teams at every entrance and exit point, then have them shoot anything that makes a hostile move." Balkazar ordered Eastwood.

=^= "Richerds, youll get those scans.  But I read the reports of that day too and I dont think they are the same.  These seems to be more mutated." =^=

[Balkazar]

"Eastwood, Everyone is off the ship except for a few people.  Hk47 here I called in personally.  His skills will be an asset to us all, Hes also going to be part of Lobo's SEAL team.  Hes putting together a special squad of men made up of both Starfleet and Marine personel.  HK47 is Starfleet except hes put where ever hes needed most.  Raszagal is also part of Lobo's squad."

"Raszagal, you are to afford the same respect to HK47 just as if you were showing me respect.  Understood?"

[Simon Rajnus]

"Trust me, Ensign.  I have been working with this device far longer then you and im fully aware of what its capable of.  Dont try and tell me what it can and cant do.  Besides the power stations on Dantor doesnt have the power requirement.  So your best bet on opening up this Rift to save the Iroquois is to either go back and use the special power stations their where they were built JUST! for the Rift generator, OR! tap a black hole.  Im still your superior and you do what I tell you.  Understood, Ensign." Simon told Dolan calmly.

[John Moore]

As Balkazar's voice came over the comm, a ceiling panel in the stations control centre fell to the floor, and John dropped down it.

"Evening, Lieutenant. Having fun?" he said, wiping some alien blood off his cheek.

[HK47]

<HK just stood their silently as if waiting for something>

[Clyde Eastwood]

Eastwood was in his quarters getting some shut eye ((and loving it mind you)) when he got a call from a Private saying to report to the marine quarters in 30 minuites

"God damnit i bet the mission has gone to hell and more of my marines are dead, bloody startfleet"

Eastwood got up out of his bed and made his way to the quarters
