Mission 4: "When Science Turns to Chaos"

<Engineering>

"You worry to much." Simon said as he began ordering the engineering staff around.

"Get 4 teams seal the breaches.  The rest of you get to work on keeping the structural integrity in place." Simon ordered.

"As for those missles." Simon said as he went over and pushed a few buttons on the console and rerouted power to a Jammer he was setting up.

"You see, sometimes the best technology will not always work.  Sometimes you have to use old fashioned technology to short out the missles in essence jam them.  So what im setting up should use very little power while jamming every missile that comes our way." Simon said as he worked.

"Dont you suck up to me Private.  Your wet behind the ears and you dont know what the hell your doing.  But that will change, Understood!" Balkazar shouted out.

[HK47]

<HK was getting irritated in waiting so he beamed to Lobo's location>

"Shouldnt we get to work on the Delta Flyer? that the Col asked us to work on?" HK asked Lobo as HK threw him his uniform as if he was insisting on getting to work.

[Voyager]

(OOC: No promotion?  Lol, just kidding.  Though I wouldn't mind...)

Dolan caught up with his sleep for a little while at his quarters before going to one of the holodecks and testing out his experimental design for a phaser array, which was self-sufficent with its own power source and would automatically power up and prepare to fire on enemies as soon as they were detected with the ship's sensors.  It performed very well in all of the simulations, considering that it was Dolan's first major project, but still had some bugs to fix.  Dolan started working on correcting the problems.

"Captain, the awayteam is back on the Lothlorien! Shall I destroy the station?"

*Taps his lcars-system*

"You just need to give the command"

[John Moore]

John saluted. "Sir."

Turning, John headed to the turbolift, and gave the command to go to the Marine's deck.

A few minutes later, the turbolift doors opened, and he stepped out into the modified deck. "MARINES! STORE AWAY YOUR GEAR, ORDERS FROM LIEUTENANT COLONEL EASTWOOD! NO NON-MARINE OTHER THAN CAPTAIN BODE WILL BE PERMITTED ACCESS TO OUR EQUIPMENT." he yelled at the Marines, trusting the room to carry his voice, but also adding a bit of his abilities to it, just to make sure that everyone heard and paid attention to what he was saying.

"PREPARE TO GO INTO A POTENTIALLY HOSTILE ZONE. TAKE SPACE BATTLE AS GRANTED, SO MAKE SURE ANYTHING LOOSE IS LOCKED DOWN. NOW GET TO IT!!" he added

[Jeroen Bode]

"Thank you Mr Johnson"

"Helm, eta please?"

Helm: "We are getting close sir, only 48 hours sir"

Clyde yells out to Lobo

"Hey boofhead remember that time Commander Marshall tryed to get in my face and i screamed and yelled for him to go, this feels like the same time but i didnt feel like shooting him"

*THE moment of truth! Jeroen knew this had to work to save to Iroquios and her crew...*

Dolan suggested, "Maybe we could test the device just outside the Dantor system.  That way, if something seriously goes wrong, Avalon Station and any nearby ships could destroy the ship if it poses a major threat to the Federation, though seeing that we can't even contact them due to the nebula between us and the rest of the Federation, I don't really see how that is a plausible concern."

Dolan paused, checking if he had considered all of the variables, and then continued, "Also, if all the calculations are correct, the Iroquois should have appeared near the Dantor system, if not inside.  I assuming we are looking for the Iroquois?  When I was on the Evolution, I noticed the Iroquois disappeared off sensors nearby Avalon Station.  In any case, if I spend some time doing some calculations, I should be able to get a rift to where ever the Iroquois went.  I'll just need some scans of the thing that the Iroquois disappeared into, since the other side would be the interdimensional coordiantes I'll be aiming for.  After that, it's relatively easy."

[Voyager]

"To be honest, I couldn't say," Dolan said slowly.  "I haven't had time to review the logs of what happened.  It is possible that the scientists targeted the wrong dimension to create a rift.  I think it might be a hit or miss thing.  However, it seems somewhat safe, but we should first send over a container of organic material similar to humans and other members of this crew and the marines, just to see if anything changes."

"Lieutenant J.G. Thomas Johnson, Chief Operations Officer reporting in"
