OFF: Dammit, Balk! You should have said "You rang?" (Man, I shouldn't have watched the Adams family so much...)

"What about computers? Or am I going to have to take another starfleet officer on this lil excursion?" Balkazar asked point blank.

"MOORE!." Balkazar called out.  "Make sure everyone has sonic grenades, they wont damage the station or any of their computers." Balkazar ordered.

[Balkazar]

"So no cool weaponry huh ?" Balkazar said with a rare smilcreasing across his features.

"Very well, she is welcomed.  Where is she so I may officially welcome her?"

OOC: sorry hugely busy now that summer has returned.

IC: Having stayed close to the Colonel on this trip I was waiting to get the information. I watched as Ensign Dolan and Lobo called in. Then there was the figure that fell from the cieling and almost took out Wallace and Balkazar. Drawing his side arm Commander Wallace fired the first shot. Stun did nothing. Only after reaching the kill setting did the Humanoid retreat.

Eastwood woke up screaming for a medic and talking gibberish about nothing then laid back down and fell asleep again

***New Mission Goes as follows***

The U.S.S Iroquois has been trapped in the 'mirror universe' and a rescue mission has been put into place. There is a Starfleet Deep Space Science Station in the heart of the Expansion Nebula currently working on a prototype 'Dimensional Rift Generator' that will hopefully open up a rift into the Mirror Universe long enough for the retrieval of the Iroquois. Your mission is to travel to this station and retrieve the device and bring it back to Station Avalon for testing.

Co-ordinates are being sent to the Helm as you get this. These Co-ordinates do not leave the ship as the science station is of high importance and must remain unknown to the rest of the Federation. The stations' location is on a need to know basis. Please ensure your helmsmen is aware of this.

Although it may not seem like they are needed, the marines are also required to acompany you on this mission.

"Alright, Move all personel to the upper decks and the Shuttlebay deck.  Keep power to the turbolifts online, but cut power from the rest of the ship except for those that have starfleet and marine personel on them.  Raise shields and transfer power from those decks into the shields matrix, cut power to the warp engine but keep power to the impulse engines, we can survive without warp for the time being.  Should beable to get shield strength up to 75% minimum.  Or I could modify the shield matric to use up less power while having a new shield design I been working on replace our current shields in a way.  Would require less power to maintain to keep this Rift open." Simon said as he took a container out of his pocket and inserted it into the console releasing billions of tiny nanites to repair the damage that was sustained.

"Watch these lil buggers work.  If needed we can use them as a additional power source." Simon said as he watched his nanites go to work.

<Opening up the small box shock flowed over Johns features, then he quickly regains his compure and grins with pride>

"Thank you, Col." he said taking off his old pips and adding on his new one.

Allison pulled back from Eastwoods side with a upset look on her face. She looked over at John then have the Nurse tie the Lt. Col to the bio-bed, to stop him doing it for a 2nd time.

Staying close to Colonel Balkazar through the rest of the mission.

"Well Colonel So long as we get through this you can by the next round sir."

Being well under the fitness level of the Marines Wallace struggled but remained side by side with the awayteam.

"Go to the Bridge, Im sure they will need someone at tactical.  Make sure you keep your eyes and ears open.  If all hell breaks loose I need someone on the bridge to protect the officers up their, take Private Morgan with you."

"Morgan, stay alert. The ship is taking fire from the other side of the rift, they may try to board if they get the chance."

"Captain, Morgan and myself are at your disposal sir!"

"Moore, Go grab Dolan out of the shuttle bay.  If hes going to come with us hes going to things our way." Balkazar ordered Moore as he was waiting for Lobo to get done gearing up.
