<Engineering>

Dolan was startled when the ship shruddered violently.  The engineering console he was at said there were hull breaches on decks 8, 10, and 13.  Structural integrity fields were holding and forcefields were set up around the breaches.  Sensors were picking up more torpedoes heading for the ship.

=/\= Dolan to the Bridge, we need to get shields up soon if you want to die of old age!  Unless someone wants to shoot down those torpedoes themselves, we won't be able to stop them from hitting. =/\=

Techerakh

Techerakh quickly sheathed his khala and knelt by Raszagal. "Focus it," he said. "Strip away the unnecessary. You remember, don't you? If it becomes too much, tune out the background vibrations."
"En Taro Adun!"

Head of the Gallifreyan Templar Caste

Balkazar

"Good idea, but for now, you need to choose a 2nd Lt for your men.  I think Moore would make a good choice to replace your dead plattoon sargeant."

"Alright, for now your first orders of the day are to take these too to the shuttle bay just incase I need to send you threw the Rift.  I may join you soon.  Go."

<Then Balkazar left for the bridge just as the Call from the Alternate Dolan came in>

"Captain, we are ready to go threw the Rift if needed, you just have to make the call, Captain.  If we go threw, we know the risks."

Lobo_Negro

<Shuttle Bay, USS Lothlorien>

*Lobo nods to Moore

=/\=  "Lobo to Colonel Balkazar, Sierra Tango Zero One is locked, cocked and ready to rock on your order Sir.=/\=
Today, you people are no longer maggots. Today, you are Marines. You're part of a brotherhood. From now on until the day you die, wherever you are, every Marine is your brother. Most of you will go to Vietnam. Some of you will not come back. But always remember this: Marines die. That's what were here for. But the Marine Corp lives forever. And that means YOU live forever.

Clyde Eastwood

"So Captain where do me and the my marines come into this picture or are we just along for the hell of having us again as a backup, or is there a bigger role for us then the usual backup"
Lt Col Eastwood
XO Marine Battlion

Lobo_Negro

*Guards the hatchway and glances over his shoulder watching the EMH and Ensign Dolan, his weapon at the ready."

"Hey Dolan, dont take any of what they said personally.  You have to remember, a Marine's first job is to protect the Fleet and her ships... that includes the stations.  Most of the men and women you're going to serve with have seen enough, and been through enough to have a good idea when things are going to get out of hand.  Trust Eastwood and the Colonel."

*Takes a peek at the readings..* "Looks like youve got something interesting there..." *Scans the hatchway again as he hears a shuffling sound coming from beyond it.*

"Doc? Dolan?  You MIGHT want to come out here and take a look at this...."

*Lobo raises his rifle and takes aim at the area where the sound is coming from holding his fire.*

Voyager

"This is an outrage! I demand you stop!  For all you know, you could be destroying intelligent life!  You seem to be an extreme xenophobe to me!  You don't even know if these lifeforms are dangerous and you start opening fire!  For all you know, they were an experiment that got out after the scientist on the station were killed!  You could at least have a medic inspect one of the lifeforms!"  Dolan's face grew red as he tried to contain his anger at Balkazar's complete disregard of protocol and of the killing of possible sentient life.

Dolan positioned himself in between several of the organisms and the phaser rifles of the marines and said, "I refuse to allow you to kill any more of these lifeforms until they are inspected and deemed to be dangerous."

"Aye Aye Colonel"
*Checks his weapon, tightens up his gear, checks his phaser rifle, adjusts power to high and slings his rifle.  He checks his hand phaser, makes a few adjustments to the power supply settings and beam intensity, reholsters his hand phaser then checks his edged weapons.  Satisfied all was in order he unslings his rifle and pulls it to the ready position, then looks at Eastwood and Lobo chuckles to himself.  "You ready to go old man, we cant ALL live forever."

Jeroen Bode

**Bridge**

Bode was still waiting for the Iroquois...

"Open a channel to the Iroquois", he said against his comm officer. The comm officer opened a channel for his captain..

=/\= Iroquois, status please, if you need assistance I'll send my Marines trough the rift to give you some backup fire =/\=

<Bridge>

=/\= Captain Lollock, welcome back to our universe. My scans indicate that your ship is in pretty good shape and we will restore our warp-engines and head for Dantor Station. I hope you and your crew are all right and I hope we will meet each other on day in better conditions. Bode out =/\=

The Captain was surprised that the warpengines were still offline...

=/\= Ensign Voyager, please shut down the Rift Generator and restore the warp engines, I want to get out of here as soon as possible =/\=

Kain_Starbow

<Bridge>
*As Pvt. Morgan moved towards the helm, Starbow took up his position at Tactical, Checking to make sure the Phaser and the assault rifle were ready to go*

"Pvt. Morgan, watch yourself today, anything could happen now."

*Pvt. Starbow talked calmly to Morgan, sensing the new Pvt was scared and anxious at the same time.*

*Morgan glances over and nods at Starbow as they here the Captain and the others talking about hearing gunfire on the other side of the rift, both men mentally check themselves and prepare for battle, trying to stay out of the way but watching carefully just in case*

Balkazar

"Ok, lets go over some ground rules, call me Col. I dont expect my people to salute all the time, but I do expect them to put forth their idea's.  Also, you are to remain armed at all times, because im sure as old and wise as you are that even in times of peace, even you remain armed ready for war at a moments notice.  Also, I expect you to wear our insignia to Identify you as one of us sense im sure our clumsy armor is not to your liking.  Im not sure if you use only your Khala is it?, but a hand phaser isnt mandatory but I like my marines to be armed with one in addition to whatever else weapon they preffer.  Hmmmmm, what else.  Only time you salute is when in the presence of a General, I personally dont put much stock in saluting.  Ummmm, and if you draw your weapon make sure its not pointed at your fellow comrades, also I expect you to be willing to die for your allies and comrades so that means, If im trapped behind enemy lines I expect you to be one of my rescuer's.  Just like I would show the same loyalty to you if the situations were reversed.  Hmmmm, also we dont leave a man behind, dead or alive they come home, I think that covers the basis of everything.  Any questions?"

Voyager

<Ready Room>

"I'll have them finished within the hour," replied Dolan and he left quickly for where the rift generator was, but not before duplicating the recordings of his tricorder and sending several encrypted copies to his quarters.

After arriving at Cargo Bay 1, which was under heavy guard, and getting access to the rift generator after having the force field around it deactivated, Dolan began to calculate the destination point, the amount of power needed, the strength of the rift, and a whole other number of variables before inputting it into the rift generator.  The whole process took a couple hours and when Dolan finished, he began the simulations.  He frowned after running the simulations several times and all having the same result.

=^=Dolan to Captain Bode=^=
"We cannot maintain the rift for longer than 15 minutes without the rift starting to either pull us in or have anything on the other side of the rift being pulled through.  Also, the rift generator will cause major power drains and wear down shields even with full power to front shields.  However, I have managed to get the target interdimensional coordinates.  The rift generator should create a rift at the coordinates the Iroquois appeared at in the other dimension.  We just need to get this thing hooked up to the deflector dish to create a rift large enough for the Iroquois to get through and then we're set.  Unless of course you think the Iroquois can fit inside Cargo Bay 1, in which case we're ready right now."

Voyager

<Bridge>

A message came through the rift to the bridge.

=/\= Ensign Dolan of the New Terran Empire to any ships on the other side of the rift.  Do not send any vessels through the rift, the Iroquois will be through the rift shortly.  As soon as they are through, close the rift as fast as you can.  An experimental weapon is going to be tested and we don't know the full effects.  If any ships of yours come through, they will probably not come back.  I repeat, don't send any ships through the rift.  =/\=

<Shuttlebay>

"Hmmm, finally." HK said with much pleasure as he went to the Delta Flyer's helm controls and started with the Pre-flight checks.  Then initiated the masking device.
