T'lana

"Ah yes Captain, thank you for coming. With all that is going on with the Na'Jigat, the Heraani and their allies. I have been working on making the Quantum Slipstream Drive viable for Starfleet, the USS Rivendell in particular."

T'lana continued, showing Taurik the PADD she was working on.

"This PADD contains the schematics for a Quantum Slipstream Drive, a Biomechanical Computer, a Quantum Induction Core and a Quantum Singularity Reactor, depending on which reactor is better suited for the Rivendell. The technology was given to me by the Doctor, when I was designing the Kelata. Along with the Phrase that helped us rescue you from the Borg, so it is logical to assume there is a reason. However, it is up to you."

Morgan Freeman

Morgan spoke up from the cockpit of the Blue Harvest "Captain, we may be able to convert our fuel into a usable source for the vessel if I can take a sample of the current fuel. "

T'lana

"Mr. Sarpedon, jump when ready." Ordered T'lana.

T'lana

"Very good Mr. Sarpedon, maintain course and speed."

It took the USS Rivendell and Battle Group Thirteen approximately thirty minutes at transwarp velocities to reach the Borg Unicomplex.

T'lana ordered Givrillian to slow to impulse and display their location on screen.
The Rivendell's Main Viewer displayed several asteroids and meteorites with a mass of eerie metal constructs with glowing green trim. A Transport Tube connected several of the main complexes.

"Acting Captain T'lana to fleet. Remember we are here to rescue Captain Taurik, but we are now at the central nexus of the Borg Collective, so battle stations."

=A=USS RIVENDELL OUT=A=

"Mr. Sarpedon, once we are close enough, the Borg Collective will hail us, remember that this is a standard automatic hail from the Hive Mind. Do not fire upon them until I give the order, understood?"

Chaya Sar

Chaya Sar nodded in thanks, "May the force be with you, T'lana." She then left T'lana's quarters for Avalon Station.

Orpheus

"We're receiving another transmission from the fleet. It's from the Marathon, ma'am."

Orpheus played the transmission on the main viewer as the senior staff left the conference room. "This is Captain Ramirez of the U.S.S. Marathon, the other ship commander said, staring right at T'lana. "We've received a distress call on your behalf from Red Acropolis, and Starfleet diverted our battle group here. We've also been told to inform you that you are hereby given a temporary field promotion to Captain, and are in command of Battle Group Thirteen. We're standing by for your orders, Ramirez out."

Taurik

"Impressive, Commander. Send your final data to my ready room, and I will submit the idea to the Daystrom Institute immediately. If they approve the idea, we can begin construction of a prototype."

Taurik tapped his communicator. "All senior staff," he said, "please meet in the mess hall at 1800 hours."

With that, Taurik walked out of Main Engineering, headed for his ready room.

T'lana

"Aye Captain." Stated T'lana.

Turning to the Helm Officer, "Mr. Sarpedon, set course for Space Station Avalon and engage the Transwarp Drive."

Taurik

By this time, Taurik had made his way back to his ready room, and the Rivendell was back on course for Red Acropolis.

Taurik tapped his commbadge in response. "Very good," he said. "Please tell Miss Sar that I would like to see her in my ready room at her earliest convenience."

T'lana

T'lana was fascinated by Larial, she definitely was a marvel of technology and a credit to Morgan's expertise as an engineer.
Larial's Positronic Brain is evolving quickly and she seems to be learning at an exponential rate.

Apparently Captain Taurik must be still mulling over the suggestions T'lana and Morgan have made in regards to testing the Jumpdrive in order to catch the attention of any cloaked vessels. It would also be logical to inform the crew of the Jumpdrive and it's operation, it is one thing to keep it a secret from your enemies, it is another to keep it a secret from the crew.

T'lana went back to work at her Science Station and scanned the area using the electromagnetic sensors to scan any anomalies or shifts in quantum particles. She new it was like looking for the proverbial needle in the haystack, as the humans say, but at least the area to scan was the proximate area to the station.

"No sign of any cloaked vessels thus far Captain, it is logical to assume that whether or not there is a cloaked vessel in proximity to the station, they do not want to be found. The USS Rivendell's sensors are not efficient enough to locate them, of course there is another way, the Radiant Thunder, it is a Gallifreyan vessel and obviously more advanced."

Odona Covell

<Heraani Space Station - Hera System>

~"I have not seen him since we made the last jump, I feel his presence but don't know his status at the moment.  I will attempt to find out about him if you would like me to?"~

Morgan Freeman

Morgan walked with Miss Sar to the engineering lab.  He was very careful in how he walked in order to prevent the fuel in the container from being released.
Once in the lab he sat the container on the table and opened it.  Taking out a small sample of the solution he placed it on the scanner.  The computer began studying the chemical telling Morgan it would be a few minutes before it would be complete.

"So, my name is Morgan" he said trying to make conversation.

T'lana

T'lana stood and walked over to Captain Taurik, she couldn't help but be more proud to be a member of this fine crew.

"Thank you Captain, I will endeavor to continue to serve you and this crew to the best of my ability. I am honored to be considered your friend and it would be agreeable to accept the position as Executive Officer."

T'lana raised her hand in the Vulcan salute and stated, first in Vuhlkansu then in English, what Vulcans are best known for apart from their logic and reason.

"Mene Sakkhet Ur-Seveh. Live long and prosper."

T'lana

OOC: Bugger, I forgot about the Borg Sphere.

IC: "What would suggest Mr. Beta, at maximum Warp the Borg Unimatrix is approximately 50 years from our present location."
T'lana then listened to Orpheus.

"Good...negative Orpheus, all available power to the shields, use the Rivendell as a distraction only. Signal the fleet to disable the Borg Sphere only."

T'lana turned to Beta,

"Mr. Beta, please assemble a strike force, your objective will be to place this Transporter Beacon onto a Borg Transwarp Node."
T'lana handed Beta the beacon that she had previously replicated and continued...

"The fleet will disable or at least distract the Borg Sphere, beam in and beam out as expediently as possible. Avoid any unnecessary contact with the drones. Distortions from the Sphere's Gravimetric Engines will prevent beaming in directly, so I am sending you to this location."

T'lana handed him the PADD, which contained the location and beaming coordinates for the Transporter Chief.

"Dismissed Mr. Beta and good luck, as humans say."

Chaya Sar

Chaya Sar noticed beings she did know and some beings she didn't. The ones she did know were around an important looking console that Chaya guessed was the main engineering console.

Chaya walked over to T'lana and Morgan and said, "Greetings Morgan, T'lana, how are you?"
