"Welcome aboard, lieutenant commander. Meet my first officer, commander Brooks. I'm sure that he will be more than delighted to give you a tour around the ship so you can perform your security abilities to their best, and he will assign you quarters."
*Sanchez looks at Brooks with a very obvious smile.*

*At that moment, and not before, Vurak Spock notices that a message was awaiting him. He had been so intent with his work in engineering, and he had not slept for days, that he had not noticed the incoming message that the captain had left him right before he left the ship. Vurak opens the message, and the voice of captain Sanchez resounds.*
"Mr. Vurak, please schedule some time to meet me in my ready room, when I return from the negotiations at the embassy of Deep Space 12. There are some matters to discuss, and also, Mr. Hayes will be assigned to your department at engineering, he should be coming aboard soon. Sanchez out."

*Sanchez watches the chief engineer walk out of his ready room, and waits until the door closes again, to touch his combadge.*

*Then he walks back onto the bridge.*

"Report."

(OFF: Actually, he's in a shuttle somewhere nearby.)

"Ah, Mr. Vurak. Good to see you have rested well. As for the catapult catching the ship at its destination point... well yes, that's what they seem to do in order to determine the destiny location. But it works without too, from my understanding, but then you just can't be sure exactly WHERE your ship will end up at. "

[Taurik]

"I assume we will be here until further notice, sir."

[Randall Sanchez]

"Engage, Mr. Dalon.  Mr. Chastin, please run a diagnostic to check if our navigation sensors need recalibration."

OFF: should give you something to do as well then :P Besides, you are free to include your character as much as you want too. "I suggest we move on to Sickbay."

[Ardwyad]

"So, Mr. Taurik, what do you do if someone of an unknown species gets hurt and ends up in your sickbay? And what do you do if your doctors themselves are injured? And what do you do if someone of an unknown species needs treatment while your doctors are all injured? What do you do if in case of a battle, your sickbay is out of power or damaged, or even destroyed?"

[Taurik]

"Of course, Captain."

Taurik and all the DA officers head to Transporter Room 2. Once there, all the Alliance officers go up to the transporter pads.

"It was an honour to meet you, Commander Ardwyad." Taurik looks at the transporter officer.

"Energize."

[Randall Sanchez]

"Good. Helm, initiate docking procedures."
*Then he takes his padd, and checks the list of officers that will be leaving. Taurik, of course, to take command of the U.S.S. Rivendell, Vurak Spock is being recalled to Vulcan to undergo the Kohlinar, and Reeves has resigned his commission to pursue a religious life after a vision he had had at the Temples of Sordinan. Then he looks at Mr. Brooks.*
"Commander, I guess the time has come now. While the ship is docking, prepare a ceremonial line of people throughout the corridor from the turbolift to the transporter room, to give those three officers a farewell as they deserve."

OFF: like Neelix had when he left Voyager in the end.
OFF2: helm, when the ship enters the docking bays inside the station, you could use your imagination to describe the sight that we pass by, of the newly constructed U.S.S. Rivendell that is in there (Prometheus-class ship). Remember like in one of the Star Trek movies, where Kirk & co get their ship (heavily damaged) back into the shipyards, and they see they are passing by a total new design of ship (the Excelsior I believe it was) and they are all in awe.
