I will report immediately Captain. I have left Lt. Hayes to work on the sick bay. It's in really bad shape. A Level 3 diagnosis is needed right at this moment. Lt. Willard will assist as soon as he is done with Dr. Keliah unless you need them right away on the bridge. Let me know when we meet Captain. I do believe WE need to chat, Captain. I will also get a diagnostic report on condition of the ship in the near future Captain. All diagnostics have been done. We are ready to go with the exception of the sick bay. We should be space worthy. I hope negotiations have gone well. Reporting immediately.

(Upon entering the Captain's Ready Room)

Yes, Captain. You wiish to speak with me. I have received a note regarding some rather intriquing news I believe from Admiral Vorak and yourself. What is this all about?

[Taurik]

"Lieutenants Willard and Hayes, please take Helm and Tactical until the away team returns."

[Palleon Chastin]

Smirking, but not taking the time to turn around, Palleon speaks to Nelson.  "Perhaps that would work if this was a ship and not a sentient energy wave!"  
The fact that this thing was chasing the ship made his hands twitch.  His instincts told him to switch to manual control and bring the ship about but he would wait for orders.  One of the downsides of being a Helmsmen instead of a Fighter Pilot.  "I dont suppose it would hurt to try a concentrated burst from the Main Deflecter, but if our weapons are useless we should get out of here.  I realize leaving the away team on the planet isnt an option but we cant do them any good if we are dead, Sir."  Once again, his fingers twitched abit over the consol but he would keep his head.  Not the time or place to act at his own accord.

"The challenge was quite, perplexing, to say the least, Captain." Taurik relinquishes the command seat to Captain Sanchez, then takes his station and turns to address the officer that just came to the bridge. "Welcome, Lieutenant Nesmith."

"We can determine the rough location of where we will drop out of null-space, but we must anticipate an error of up to 10 light years."

[Dalon]

Aye, sir. Sending ready signal to the station.

*presses a command on his console*

Sir, the navigational sensors seem to indicate that the catapult is activating.

*the space between the catapult's arms seems to become distorted, as if a tunnel burrowed through it, turning that piece of space into the tunnel walls*

Following the station's instructions, I will now proceed into the so-called null space pocket,  sir.

*the viewsceen shows the "tunnel" entrance becoming closer and closer*

Sir, our sensors indicate that the ship has no longer any mass. I believe we are now in null space. *pauses* Our navigation positioning sensors indicate that we are moving at a speed of warp 10. This may be caused by it's incapacity to update our coordinates inside null space. However, as we have no mass at all, it would be logical to expect that we can achieve warp 10 with the slightest acceleration.

Perhaps Lt. Cmdr. Reeves has data that can confirm my assumptions, sir.

*the ship continues travelling. all spave flashes through the viewscreen at blinding speed*
