I think so Captain. I heard earlier in the corridors on the way back to the Bridge, crew talking about this new space we will have the pleasure of exploring first and they sounded very exited about it. I must say, I'm looking forward to it myself. What about you, sir?

I would not fear any animal or creature as far as the reports are coming in. I am sure the problem should be resolved in due time. Victor Alpha One. The area has been bioscanned and no other life forms has been detected within the vicinity besides our own crew. It's possible to have been torn off and have the resemblance of chew marks on it also. But I am working on rectifying that problem. Now. Please rest assure. I plan to get this rectified immediately. An investigation into the incident is being done to bring in all confirmation of what is reported. I will duly note what is coming in. You are in no danger. Logically speaking.

(Vurak returns to his work on the control panel as he pieces the wires and replaces the old circuit board with a new one. Power to that area has been severely restricted. He also seems to be making many notes on his datapad on the damage caused.)
