OFF: perhaps I should assume to post with McKinley's character for now. After all, it wouldn't be logical if the captain didnt have any say in the situation by now lol

Commander Zentox, your willingness to sacrifice yourself for your people is most noble, but do you believe that the Loxian government would support Kowan if he really destroyed a Federation peace envoy? Certainly, if they are as harsh as you say, he would fear the consequences if he botched this mission.

OFF: the captain is being played by a character of Yugiman, who has now been away for about two months. We don't know when he will return still, if he intends to return at all. Therefore, I suggest that the medical officers continue the story so, that the captain's condition is still severe (worse than they initially thought) and that he remains unconscious for quite some time. When the ship returns to station Avalon, and Yugiman has still not returned, the idea is that the captain will be handed over to the station's medical department, where they can continue to treat him. That means that commander Burma will be given the official temporarily rank of "acting captain", until Yugiman returns. If Yugiman does not return, likely Burma's captain rank will be made permanent. "Cmdr, I'd be willing to show Mr Zentox to the VIP Quarters, if it's with your approval?"

Our estimated time of arrival is approximately 4 days give or take an hour or so.

"Commander, the weapons of the Loxian ship are still armed. They may see us as a threat, they may think we are helping the so called rebels."

[Rasmain]

"Tactical reporting sir, the other Loxian ship is holding position but I do not detect any form of agression towards us. Though I suggest we keep our guard, we do not know how they will react to the granted asylum request. Nothing else to report, everything is working perfectly"

[Loxians]

Zentox: "Other means? What other means? They are too corrupted to understand any other means! The only other way is to get us all killed! And if sacrificing my own life can prevent that, then I will gladly do so! I have fought all my life for the freedom of my people. If I can set them free after all, by sacrificing my own freedom, then it is a little price, no more."

[Rasmain]

*Grabs a phaser that was under his panel and did this without the Loxian Officers noticing it. He tried to move towards the armed men and awaited the chance to stun them, which would definitely come*

"Mr Kowan, are you aware that if you capture this entire ship, the chance of a peacefull agreement between our species will not be made in the near future. If you are a wise man, and I think you are, you stand down and transport back to your own ship"

[Loxians]

Just before Robinson and Kowan got into the turbolift to leave the bridge, Zentox spoke up.

"Kowan..."

Kowan turns around to see Zentox still having his weapon aimed at him. The weapon was a Loxian one.

Zentox: "I've waited so long for the moment to kill you."

As Zentox pulls the trigger, Kowan shuts his eyes, anticipating to be killed any moment, and then...

Kowan carefully opened his eyes again, wondering if he's still alive or not, and saw Zentox still standing there with a grim smile. Zentox' weapon had never been charged in the first place, not even when he had Kowan under shot before and managed to force him to surrender... and more: Zentox knew it from the beginning.

As Robinson lead Kowan on into the turbolift, Zentox stared at him and meanwhile dropped the useless weapon on the floor in front of his feet...

If it is all the same to you Zentox, perhaps you would be willing to spend the time in your comfortable quarters, as you can see here that the bridge looks quite busy and you may get in the way somehow mistakenly, but that is up to you sir.
