At that moment, the ship begins to shudder and the red alert claxons blaze.
Next, the intensity of the light on the bridge begins to drop, and some panels begin to falter.

Computer: "Warning. Energy at extreme low levels. Structural integrity damaged, insufficient energy to compensate.  Hull breach imminent."

"This doesn't look good! What's the status of the ship? Can we shake this thing off?"

*quietly waits for everyone else to arrive*

so as soon as the Skytoucher is ready, we will leave dock and head for this uncharted solar system.

*SIR! I am picking up that wierd hull distortion again!!!

*she runs to the security station to look at the report on the scans, she gently moves the Lt. Lenna and runs back to her station after glancing at the readings*

Lt. keep a close watch on those readings and tell me if anything chages!

Major Hedford, the ship is almost shivering like it was cold or something!

What is the status of the Skytoucher?

[Hedford]

"Yes Sir, scanning is under way."

* In the mean time the USS Rivendell moved foreward towards the strange looking asteroide*

"Captain, I've got some strange readings here. According to scans this asteroide is not here. It looks like it's out of phase or something..."

[Dereth]

*The NSC Ship was destroyed and with the destruction the USS Rivendell was set free. The Skytoucher and Rivendell were now only a couple of meters away from each other....was it an illusion again?*

[Hedford]

*Sees the captain entering the bridge*

"Goodday Sir. We have just broken free from the strange illusion we were trapped in. We are now trying to contact the Skytoucher and they will inform us what happend during our absence."

*At that moment the Skytoucher answered the Rivendells hail*

This is Captain Göransson, we succeeded in releasing the alien lifeforms and destroying the NSC vessel. We are trying to communicate with the aliens as we speak.

"Ensign Burma, let the Skytoucher now that we are recalibrating our sensor and will assist them in anyway we can"

*taps his comm badge to signal a communication*

"Lieutenant to security detail, we need to close off those decks and get those poeple out of those areas"

*the security signalled back*

"yes sir the crew have been relocated to safer areas"
*looks back to Major Hedford*

"Sir, the decks are evacuated"

OFF: normally Julian, but he's relieved of command and doesnt care to post anyway.
