I cannot find anything wrong with the scanners.  Maybe it was just the radiation though.  I have never seen the radiation to affect the controls so much that a whole ship was seen.

Captain, with all due respect... Wouldn´t it be better if we left one or two shuttles to monitor the whole situation? That way we can get to Fleet Admiral Vorak faster. This is just a suggestion, Captain.
