Thank you for your support, people.  Of course, this isn't our fight, but I'm not going to let people die like that and just look at it either.  So the job is now up to our engineers.  And hopefully we get a positive alliance out of this situation with the Cardassians.
And Mr. Dewald, feel free to scan for any of our ships nearby, for as far as the scanners reach while in the Dark Passage, but I'm afraid we won't be able to reach any of them.  The Skytoucher was in the nebula, quite far from here and unreachable therefore...
