*On the Cardassian station, a sound heared and the young officer started to talk with disbelief in his voice.*

Admiral! We are being hailed by the Evolution!

*Admiral Rugal did not need to heare more, with a jump, so youthfull that even the officer that had the controls became surprised, he walked to the screen.*

I take is from here soldier.

This is Fleet Admiral Rugal from the Cardassian Union. I can hear you! Some static but yes, I can hear you! Excuse me, but where is Captain Ramius?

I am afraid it is not possible, sir. I do not know why, but sopmehow all our mmedicins are useless against the virus.

OFF: Alissa, it's on the main page...there you can see the menu, with a line "Starfleet" and then your in our starfleet section..

Why are they attacking us?  Who are they? Sanchez ponders, but he doesnt have much time to consider options, as the enemy ship keeps firing.

"Battle stations!  Damage report!"

[Loxians]

On the Evolution's bridge:
Suddenly, a few Loxians appear on different places on the bridge, and all aim their weapons before the starfleet officers can do the same.  Then one Loxian nodds approvingly at the other, and points out the person at the operations station.
"Take her," he says, and he himself grabs the captain by the arm.
Seconds later, captain Sanchez and lieutenant Alissa Marou disappear from the bridge, to materialize on a Loxian ship.

In sickbay:
Two Loxians appear in sickbay, aiming their weapons at everything that moves.  Both close in to Dr. Keilah quickly, nodd at each other with approvement, then grab his arms and all beam back to the Loxian ship.

Before anyone has time to react, the Loxian ship that has taken the three hostages, takes off and departs deeper into the asteroid field.  But the other Loxian ships remain surrounding the starfleet ship to make sure it's not going anywhere......

OFF: since this mission has dragged on long enough, I will speed things up a bit here now.

The USS Evolution crew said their farewells to Admiral Rugal, and the Evolution set course back to station Avalon.
The voyage through the Dark Passage to its borders proceeded quietly, without any other incidents with Loxians or other species, until the ship reaches the outer borders of the Dark Passage...

Helm: Sir, I'm picking up something.

Sanchez: What is it?

Helm: A few small ships, not far from here.

Sanchez: What kind of ships?

Helm: They all seem to be Federation starships, though some of unknown type... But one of them is from our fleet... the USS Lhasa!

Sanchez:  the USS Lhasa?  That's a ship of the Academy! What's it doing here?  Helm, slow down to one quarter impulse, and hail them!

OFF: at this point, the communication between the USS Lhasa and USS Evolution will be posted in the forum "Dark Passage" in the Expansion Sector board.

Captain Sanchez not caring about quarintines and infections, Admirals allowing this to happen......whats going on?
