USS Evolution Mission 10: Revenge of the Na'jigat

The Righteous rocked violently as it took a beating from the Na'jigat. An explosion flared from the ceiling, and gas began to leak. A bolt akin to lightning lanced from the cloud and struck the Defiant-class ship. A few escape pods left the ship, but very few survived. Another lightning bolt lanced from the energy cloud, and blasted the Righteous right in the belly. The ship split into several large portions, and the warp nacelles hung only by a few plates of duranium. The Na'jigat cracked the ship open like a coconut, and drained it's energy just as easily. Once the ship had been drained, they absorbed the final explosion as the warp core lost containment.

"Ok dr. Hannah, I sugest you lay down on a bed and stay there till the time we can return to sickbay. Youre back is in a very serious condition and you should take a rest, and dont even try to argue with me cause you know you wont win it."

*Ftima turns around to have a look at Airis, but she is still sleeping, just like Thomas. How long will it take for him to wake up, if he ever wakes. *

    T'Pong, we need to increase the field generation from the generator on the ready room to encompase the Forward half of the ship.

OFF:  The Field generator with your permission Captain should give us ample protection for a limited time.  Due to the drain on the generator in the ready room.  but it should repel most attacks on the forward portion of the ship.

    Sir, commencing installation of the phaser upgrades, this should only take few moments.  As you are aware  it will be a quick instill due to the battle status we are in, Therefore the phaser arrays will not hold up as long, but will have devestating effects.    As soon as I am finished here, I will return to the ready room to complete the shield envelope.  Shall I meet you there?

Well Captain. Currently, speaking, your status report has been done by our Lieutenant Nonir. Your report IS on your table from what he has done. The ship currently is in your hands right now thanks to this fine crew indeed. They responded with pinpoint accurracy and dedication to their work. I am quite logically impressed with everyone here. You all have grown like a family. I am truly HONORED to work with everyone. Captain. Lieutenant Ftima has been going non stop in sick bay. Mr. Spock has been working non stop in engineering. Airis has been working counseling non stop. And from what I am seeing. There seems to be new crew working on various projects. I have no idea who they are unfortunately since I left new faces seem to arrive, but I am sure they would be surfacing in due time to continue their duties. I seem to be back on duty for right now. Captain. Sadly, I may be facing Dr. Ftima's wrath shortly for over expending myself right now, but I can hold for a little longer. Captain. I will rest shortly. I did promise Lefronas...................soon. Soon. I am not ready to rest quite yet.

Hannah wakes, and sees he is sitting on the biobed in Sickbay. He grabs a tricorder and scans himself, finding only a mild concussion. He administers a painkiller to himself and goes to the console to catch up on his work.

I see you are well acquainted with our facilities. I see the markings of commander on your uniform so I am presuming you have been watching things while I was "away" on my journeys. I believe things are well under way as planned.  I may just take my leave and return to my quarters since I am still under Dr. Ftima's order to get some rest before resuming any further duties. I believe I may be taking on a more part time role on this ship for the time being until I am fully recuperated, but currently I will be resting for the next few days. It may be that my future will lay under a different path due to my current excursions with the Galifreyan order. It's hard to say at this point. Mr. Taurthk. Thank you very much for taking care of things while I was gone. I greatly appreciate it. Oh yes, Mr. Nonir is currently off duty for he has put in over time for me during the crisis. Now as the story is being written.................
"Today you shall die. Tomorrow ALL shall die. We are the N'ygat. We are all. We will devour you ALL!!!!
Vurak Spock in his meditative state begins the tapping. A strange unearthly glow begins to circumference around Vurak (in spirit form) as he begins to channel his energy within himself outward. A strange feeling of overwhelming energy as he excels himself to another level of existence. For one brief moment. Vurak understands what must be done. He begins to channel "himself" in the tactical control panel through the many interconnecting wires and electronic components literally immersing himself into the phaser controls until he reaches the point where he begins the "building" of his energy with that of the phaser. A build up begins in the phaser. A whitish blue glow begins enamating out from the phaser begins. The sensors begin to target phaser, but with great difficulty!
To everyone on bridge:
The control panel begins to glow a bluish white glow. The control panel LITERALLY comes alive on it's own. You see Vurak remain in meditative state as he concentrates. His eye remains closed the it literally flies open. A light bluish white glow begins to encompass his eyes. He stares blank at the control panel.
"A link to Taurik: I am coming Taurik. I will help you. Sentinel Taurik. Prepare for combining of my energy with your and we will scatter the N'ygat to the winds!!!! Logically speaking of course.

In a hoarse voice, he declares to everyone: Fire at will.

*Just when Spock wants to leave Airis wakes up, she grabs his hand and pulls him towards her*

"Spock what happend to you *coughs*, and where am I?"

*Airis is quite for a second as if she is thinking, then starts talking again*

"You saved my live didnt you? I thought I was               going to die, how can I ever thank you? But....... where are you going? you have to stay here, here with me! It is too dangerous, please Spock stay here with me,if something happens to us, then at least we are together.

*spock wakes up a couple of minutes later and then checks on Airis and Thomas to make sure they are still breathing and they were but barely*

*Spock to Ftima*

Airis, Thomas, and I are on Deck 2...........Thomas is seems to be fine......but his breathing is rather Speratic....and Airis in having trouble breathing.....They must have breathed to much Plasma fumes when Deck 4 collapsed.....*then spock coughs rather harshly*

Ill be bringing them both to the make shift Medical bay in a minute when I catch my breath...........Spock out*

*then spock calls for HK50 to help assist Carrying thomas to the sickbay..........then Spock picks up airis like a baby and they both start heading towards the make shift sick bay.............Only to arrive a couple of minutes later..............Then as nurses comes up to them as they enter they take airis and thomas off of us and goes to look after them........Then spock heads for a clear spot and slinks to the ground......*

Dr I think I may breathed in some of those fumes......Give me what you can so I can get back out there to try and keep this ship intact!......And Tell Airis when she wakes up dont do this again or try not too *then Spock coughs as if his throat was dry but it was only the fumes and smoke he breathed in*

*then looks at HK50 wishing he was a droid so he didnt have to breath in all this stuff*

The ship rocks softly as the umbilicals are attached to Avalon Station.

"--taken down. I guess Avalon's infirmary would be a better idea."

*Embries stands behind the science station and touches some buttons.*
"I'm getting a reading of a Klingon ship some distance away, sir. It appears that Kha'Var has been busy all this time, repairing her ship. And I suppose admiral Vorak is still on board there too. It should be a minor detour only, to stop by them."
