U.S.S. Evolution Mission 13: The Battle of Avalon

A small Gallifreyan ship arrives near the Evolution. A hail comes through on the subspace radio.

"Captain, this is Master Techerakh. If you would like an escort to Starbase Avalon, we would be happy to provide it. Heraani ships are still patrolling the area, your journey home may be dangerous."

Amid his confusion of being stationed on the new ship, Hobson found the captain as the senior staff meeting dismissed.
"Sir? I couldn't help but learn of the news..the ship is going to be decomissioned? It is a very melancholy entrance to my career if I can speak loosely".
He spoke with a tone that radiated how uncertain he was of his future, already at his first assignment.

*Robert gets up from the biobed and glances to Ftima. He smirks and speaks.*

"Its good to see you again Ftima, I dreamt about you. Of coarse I will tell you all about it when we get that drink...*He winks, and gives her a hug.*...I do beleive you saved my life again. You are my hero."

*He gives her a kiss on the cheek and exits the sickbay. He eneters his quarters and puts on his uniform. Just as he was dessed the announcment for the meeting was heard through the loud speaker. He exits his quarters and enters themeeting room.*

"Captain Sanchez, Lieutenant Robert Nonir, Chief of Operations of the Uss Evolution reporting back for duty sir."

*Robert takes a seat at the table.*

[Spock]

"Engineer, Do the scan.  I think I may have to reprogram that darn AI to be more polite later when we get some time!."

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez shakes his head.*
"Even when I'm officially made an admiral, I'll start off as one of the lower admirals. I wouldn't be able to reverse the decision to decommission this ship anyway, as higher ranked admirals would overrule my decision instantly."
*Sanchez sighs deeply.*
"Well, people, what can I say? All I can do is thank you all, for your devotion and hard work, and your cooperation. You were all magnificent officers, each one of you, and once I'm officially an admiral, I'll do what I can to give you all good positions. But I must also say, that I'll miss working together with you all dearly."
*Sanchez takes a deep breath.*
"Dismissed everyone."
*Then he walks over to the doctors, and talks in a lower voice.*
"How is Zayan doing? She was feeling unwell, but then the attack of the Heraan kept me busy and I didn't get to check on her yet. Is she feeling better yet?"
