U.S.S. Evolution Mission 13: The Battle of Avalon

Okay I think it now time to take our escort and get home acptain.

"Durandal, I don't expect to defeat them. I know that it's a lost cause. All I want to do now, is to make a difference while we still can."
*Suddenly, the ship shudders heavily. The red alert claxons start blazing, and some panels on the bridge already explode.*
"And it begins now! Helm, evasive action! Ms. Lauren, fire!"

Ok here is the plan... The idea is that the ship suffers heavy damage. And I mean HEAVY damage, worse than ever before, but NOT entirely destroyed either (the idea is that it can still travel, though barely). The Gallifreyans will save us in the end and chase off the Na'jigat and Heraan.
Then, the Evolution will be returned to Avalon station, where the whole Evolution crew will receive the announcement that the ship will be decommissioned due to the extended damage to it and the age of the ship, and that the crew will be reassigned seperately to other ships...
BUT THIS WILL NOT REALLY HAPPEN!!! (the reassignment I mean). At that time, a situation will arise in where Sanchez will decide to steal the ship, and ask his crew to come with him to do it. *Nonir stands up and looks at Ftima*

"Robert I am glad you are back, you really scared the hell out of me......"

"Admiral! You can't do this! This ship is our home, it has been for so long! I know it's an older model, and it's not the strongest, but as a small ship, it has proven to be effective and advantageous many times over, or else we wouldn't be sitting in this room now! Entering the Meeting room to ssee almost everyone there on the way I welcome the new science officer and Contine with, Yes Lt Cmdr Wallace should be on his way to this meetin g shortly. Then entering I turn to the Admiral and say reoporting as ordered sir.

"Not yet! I will NOT stand by and do nothing while these creatures destroy us! We may not be able to win this one, but at least we'll give thim a hell of a fight, and teach them that the Federation is not an easy enemy to mess with!"

"Yes, admiral."
*Then he hears the voice of Durandal.*
"Durandal, you've suffered some damage when we were attacked by the Heraan. What we're trying to do is get you fixed as soon as possible. Just like we treat our wounded officers in sickbay, but they're still the same person once they're cured as well."
