Mission 3: "Rescue and Retrieval"

John stood watching Balkazar with his eyebrow raised. Fortunately he'd received worse in the past - mostly from his mother - so he wasn't about to break down into tears over anything. He noticed that the colonel spat when he shouted too.

"Yes Sir Colonel Sir I'm sorry Colonel Sir." he said, obviously trying to say the two words as many times as he could in a sentence.

[Jeroen Bode]

*occ= we'll leave without him

"We'll use our EHM as temporary medical officer and we really need to leave right away"

"Helm please take us out and plot a course to the given coordinations, full warp!"

Helm: "Course plotted"

"Engage!"

*Turns to his Science officer*

"You'll act as my temporary first officer, let one of our officers take your station and take the bridge.....I'll be at my Ready Room"

"Colonel, can I speak to you in private"

*The both enter the Captain's Ready Room*

"Balkazar, my friend, what's your view on this mission...It seems pretty easy...but why does Star Fleet send me 200 marines...I think something is up..."

[Jeroen Bode]

*The Captain thinks for a little bit but has to agree with the Marines*
"Will go with the Colonel's plan....BUT I need your promise that you'll keep the base intact, disable the defence systems BUT keep it intact. It's not in the Federations' best interests if we destroy the base. That are the orders of Admiral Julian"

*Turns to his new helmsmen*
"ETA?"

*Patrick shook his head*

Prepare to Beam then Out, Helm once all Forces on on Board head back to Dantor

"Major General Wanner, please take the bridge, I'll head for the brig."
*Leaves his seat and takes the turbolift to the brig*

"General Brown, could you please inform me about the current situation?"

"I'd give us a couple of seconds at most, though as a warning, I have no clue what the radius of the blast will be.  It might also hit the planet." Dolan was trying to keep his uncertainty and fear out of his voice.  If he did this wrong, he might kill everyone in the star system.

Suddenly the sensors alarms went off for only a moment.  Dolan saw for a brief second that they were surrounded by cloaked vessels, with more en route.

"General, I believe we are surrounded.  The tachyon pulse just briefly showed the ship surrounded by cloaked vessels on all sides with more coming.  If you really want to use the EMP, I suggest we at least get them into a pack or so we are at least not surrounded by them."

Dolan spoke up and said, "Well Captain, I think I can cover a small portion of Engineering, seeing that I switched over from a Engineering major to a Science major somewhat early in the Academy, so I have some experience in the area."

(OOC: I made that up, but since I think we are going to be short of personnel, I might as well pitch in)

Richard stood on the outside of the outpost RIchard heard what the Colonel Said to him.
"Yes, I will get them Out of here, even if it cause me harm"

<Inside the brig the forcefield dropped as 1 of the marines stunned Brown to get some peace and quiet, then activated the forcefield again>

*Richard just stares at Balkazar*

"Tactical, fire phasers, try to pis them of...they need to follow us! When they get closer, use our torpedoes."

<While everyone was busy, Balkazar decided to hold a private conversation using his Betazoid heritage to talk to Moore>

~"I wonder if, Bode realizes hes far safer then most Captains in the fleet.  What do you think?.  Also dont be scared of being honest with me.  I count on the opinions of my officers in every aspect, both on duty and off.  Be open and honest with me and ill do the same.  Also remember whatever private things you wish to discuss with me, remains private.  Thats the bond of brotherhood we have here, we take each other's secrets to the grave."~ Balkazar told Moore Telepathically.

*Pushes his Lcars system*

*Turns to Colonel Balkazar*

"If you need an extra pilot, I can be of serves"

[Balkazar]

"Put the weapon....." Balkazar was cut off when he noticed the change of collars on Eastwood.  "Congratulations, Lt. Col.  Put the weapon down." Balkazar told Eastwood.

"Richard Brown, the newyork was destroyed and all hands were rescued when the Nij'gat attacked, wiped out the majority of the fleet and everyone was transfered to other area's.  You have been serving as tactical officer to whoever needed a position filled.  You serve on the USS Lothlorien now, under the command of Captain Bode.  You were also possessed by a dead romulan.  But the telepaths in my battalion fixed your mind up and now your here." Balkazar told Brown.

"No ones getting killed, YET!" Balkazar told Brown.
