Mission 9: The Evolution's Flight

*Kassie rushes out of the turbolift nearly colliding with Morgan as she makes her way down to helm*

"Sorry, for my lateness captian.  The Doctor had me on bedrest."

I will head into my office now, you can beam in there directly if you wish. I'll have the Evolution lower her shields. If I have your promise that your crew will not take any action while you're here, I promise the same about mine.

Baphomet was waiting for further orders, when she suddenly had an idea.

"Commander, could you come with me to my shuttle."

*Morgan followed Baphomet down to shuttle bay one, where they boarded the Kelata and proceeded to the flight deck.
There Baphomet proceeded to start up the main systems and sat down to the navigation console.*

"The reason I asked you down here Commander is because as the shuttle travels through multiple dimensions at once, the navigational sensors need to scan all eleven dimensions.
Therefore it is just a matter of configuring the sensors to scan the dimensions whilst in normal-space."

Baphomet spent a couple of minutes configuring the navigation sensors and tying them into the transporters bio-sensors.

Finally on the computer interface, one green dot was surrounded by many red dots.

Baphomet points to the green dot...

"This here is Captain Taurik, now the reason for the Kelata's sensors",
Baphomet touched a few buttons on the LCARS interface...
"We are now looking for any Subspace interactions, such as deflector shields, Transporter pads, multiphasic sensors, hidden weapon emplacements and the likes."

On the computer interface, an overlay of the capital was displayed and as the bandwidth was adjusted so too the image changed and encapsulated what looked to be a secure subterranean complex.
More re dots were displayed, with some moving back and forwards, while others were virtually static, in a 2D representationof a complex of many rooms shielded connected to a maze of hallways."

"This is logically where the prisoners are being kept, but according to the ID sensors, it is heavily guarded and protected by multiple security systems, including Phase canon towers."

"This is not going to be easy Commander and Captain Sanchez is attempting to walk into a veritable fortress."

Once back on the Bridge, they walked to their respected areas.

"Orders Commander?"

Freeman things for a moment then he makes a decision

"Helm, set a parallel course with the Evolution, makes sure you keep us with them."

"Baphomet, send a message to Avalon stating that we are still in persuit of the Evolution.  Let them know we are unable to contact Captain Taurik.  

Open Channel to the Evolution"

=A= Captain Sanchez, this is Commander Freeman of the Rivendell.  My orders are to bring you back to Avalon station, however, those orders do not say when.  You stand a better chance coming back in one piece with the Rivendell with you.  =A=

"Lt. Matthews, head down with the relief forces and watch out for anti-air weapons.  Good luck."

Turning to Dyien.   "Thank you Mr. Dyien, if you require anything let me know."

This is captain Sanchez speaking. The Loxian shuttle has arrived and we're ready. We're about to head into the frontlines of the Loxian Government ships now. Good luck, and hopefully we will talk again soon.

As the Helm officer slowed down the Rivendell to Impulse speeds, Baphomet took the position of Communications Officer.

[Dyien]

As the orange transport beam in stops, Dyien appears in a cloak.

"Hello Commander! My ship will decloak very soon. Within 30 minutes time."

Poor Eagleonia!

She has been told to go practically EVERYWHERE and she STILL doesn't know where she is supposed to be. Almost everywhere she goes, she gets told off for being there! Why? She doesn't deserve this! I got sent straight to my ship and I was sorted, but Eagleonia has been sent here, there and everywhere. This is not fair! She has been told to report HERE so, I think she should stay HERE. As her daughter, I think NOBODY should tell her off unless she has deliberatly done wrong.

"I know that Captain Sanchez is your friend, but he would have to have a good reason to disobey high command and steal his ship.  
I don't beleive your friendship with the man will change his resolve.  I think we would be fools not to prepare to disable his ship, in case diplomacy failed."
